  1. I would agree... if there weren't a clip for Battroid. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, looking at the cockpit and the nose cone my potential modification night work. Not sure if the upper half of the body that fits over the cockpit is held down by that clip as well though.
  2. Cool. But this thing would be effing expensive to reproduce...
  3. Even if the final version were precisely that color of blue I wouldn't have a problem with it. It is a good shade of blue, accurate or not.
  4. $466 for me. Two 30's plus FedEx.
  5. I wonder how this is going to work for all of us who accidentally put the F and G packs on the same pre-order?
  6. $131... shoot. That's a good price.
  7. I haven't had time to take any pics yet but I have a few suggestions for Battroid and Gerwalk once I get the time.
  8. Looking at the RVF-171, especially the Battroid mode at Mr March' site, it's quite obvious Bandai just completely got Battroid mode wrong in regards this release.
  9. Wait, Avatar was socially relevant? I thought it sold based on being flashy 3D... and James Cameron's name.
  10. I still dislike the stubby Tie Fighter Panels.
  11. But does it matter who invented the design? McQuarrie took it and refined it, and that appears to be what they're basing it all off of here. Johnson gets the nod for the original concept, McQuarrie gets the nod for the design being more appealing.
  12. REALLY??? These things were made to order!!! I'm thinking I'll get double shafted. They're "holding" mine until the G parts arrive...
  13. Actually, the only difference is the other Excalibur' have to open their bay doors in order to fire their missiles (like the YF-19) while the P (and I believe the Kai) have ports the missiles can fire out of without opening the bay doors (which they both can do too.) Actually, looking at the P it has stabilizers that are located on the bay door that the other Excalibur' don't. Likely the ports had to be added because the bay doors wouldn't be able to open in fighter mode as the stabilizer would hit the wings.
  14. Based on the blurred out images I think it's the GBP Armor as well. If true I wonder if Arcadia might not have the SDFM license. Everything so far would be from DYRL.
  15. Interesting, look at the one photo up in the corner. The additional braces, etc... and all in a bag up in the corner. As if it was a massive after thought and was added last minute.
  16. The fan does imply they're fully aware of how the thing looks in the animation anyway.
  17. That part might be tough to paint, it's all diecast.
  18. So are Imax theaters different elsewhere? They finally put one in here in Albuquerque and the screen is only about 10% larger than a regular screen and the seats a frakking horrible. It isn't worth $20 to see something there. It's my only experience with Imax and as far as I can tell it's completely not worth it. There's no additional experience in my estimation.
  19. Just a slight correction, some of the backers will be getting their games prior to GenCon (at least for now), but I am of the bunch who think selling any of them at GenCon before bakers get theirs is BS.
  20. Yeah, I was going to say the color/lines of the 19F are absolutely gorgeous. And no speakers on that one either. Just sexy blue. Totally missing out if you're thinking super-speaker, rockstar robots because the 19F/S aren't that at all. Hell, pop the silly shoulder pods out and the 19P cuts a sexy profile as well. And there aren't any speakers on the 17's either. There's plenty to go around in Macross 7, even if you don't like the show (I don't, but I know sexy when I see it. I just didn't buy Basaras Valk). Aw, dude, you totally have to pull that 19S out just to check out the sexy blue for a bit. MY Mom doesn't know a damn thing about these toys but even she will comment on how great the color of the 19S/F are.
  21. Have you seen the Tie's they're using in the Rebels show? With the more squat side panels? Most people think it's like the old Kenner Tie Fighters but McQuarries drawings of the Ties had much more squat side panels on them as well. It think they're hitting up his old designs for a lot of various things.
  22. I'd say it's because repaints usually don't sell as well but given the Roy 30th Anniversary 29 sold pretty well for Bandai maybe marketing a Roy Scheme 19P for Macross 7's anniversary might not be a bad idea. Scream's paint job is rather envious.
  23. I wished I hadn't passed up the Alto Super Parts. I wanted to do a combo with them as well.
