    It's nice to hear Stuckmans' review but he really did want it to be a great movie so I find myself wondering if it's that "awesome." I'd like to hear the review of someone who doesn't know anything about the comics and was only interested in, but didn't WANT, the movie to be good. Because that's going to be my perspective.

    Every portion of the model that is hand painted has stickers.

    I don't think she needs to "eat a sandwhich." That wouldn't help to gain any sort of muscle mass. I did assume that since she's supposed to look like a superhero she would have, at the very least, toned up for the role. A woman doesn't need to be built like a bodybuilde to look strong or powerful. But it appears she didn't even attempt a sort of bikini competition-like physique which would have been at least semi-appropriate. I will give her credit, she doesn't have twig legs.

    Did you read Valkyrie's story? Very few people were at the table but they were sold out. That pretty much rang "scalpers" in my mind.

    I think you need the leg armor to help prop up/support the very heavy wings in fighter.

    The 30 has four alternate schemes. The first two are the same as the one release but with blue and green stripes a la Max and Kakizaki. The third is a black/grey color with purple that looks rather like a Transformer. The Fourth is a lot of Red with some black, in Battroid it looks like something Milia would pilot.

    They're not exactly the same but you're right that they look very similar. If you cut out the engines on the Tornado packs you'll also notice from top-down the 25 looks like the 24 as well.

    The engines could be off and he's just more sensitive about it then anyone else. Nobody else thinks the YF-19 wings are off but I'll swear up and down that they are.

    I was going to do mine without the additional missile thing and engine attachments. Does that reduce the weight by any significant amount?

    Like I said, the ultimate blame goes to Kawamori for designing something that doesn't work with physics. However, I do have a question. Was this strain a problem on the V1's?

    Bummer, was planning to have Michaels in Battroid and Alto's in Gerwalk... what to do now.

    Those thruster intake covers are there for space use. They contain propellent for the boosters to work outside an atmosphere.

    A lot of people have said that it wouldn't be possible to make the Maxl variant. I've never been a fan of Experten kits, this being no exception, but it does prove that you can get Fighter and Battroid to look pretty close to the animation without any real compromise. With a higher budget and better engineering likely you could get even closer to the animation.

    If the armor parts are heavier then that means the braces aren't necessarily a requirement. However, is that with the packs, or with all of the additional space fingers and giant suspended missile tubes attached as well?

    You'd think so, but as these releases have been coming out they seem to be half-assing things more and more.

    Is it heavier than the 25 Armor?

    It's not light? You'd figure for such a giant add-on, and especially because most of the weight is toward the outside away from the attachment point, you'd want to try to make it as light as you possibly could. But I guess logic and Bandai don't go together, especially when you look at that dumb brace they came up with. In that last pic it looks like the wings do angle downward slightly.
