  1. Okay, it took me a bit of time so hopefully somebody will still come back here to check and give me some ideas. The head of one of the screws sheared off in the hip joint so it won't completely hold together, the bigger issue is that I can't dig the bit of left over screw from out of the hole. On the plus side this part of the hip/intake is actually all diecast so there's a bit more resilience than if it were stuck in plastic. I took two pics, the first from the side with the bit of nub sticking out, it's only millimeters really, not enough to grip it with anything I have handy. The second is from the top just for a different vantage point. Does anybody have an tips/ideas how to dig this bit of screw out? Does anybody know the size of screws for a replacement too? Thanks.
  2. I don't own a V1 so I can't comment on any part of that, I will say concerning the "weight" comment that I don't necessarily equate weight with something feeling quality. I honestly like how the V2 VF-1 and VF-11 feel so light, really. They're easier for me to pick up and flip around versus some of the heavier toys in the collection.
  3. Man, months ago I was given the scripts/etc to try to figure out how to put all of those models back together and I just didn't have the time to help out.
  4. I think the subtext is that California pretty much ruins the rest of the country...
  5. So what happened to Roy's interception? Looks like the 51 got past him.
  6. With who? Chthonic or xr79?
  7. Having lived my entire life in a desert I can attest to the fact you will always look a little orange from so much sun exposure.
  8. They got lazy and just palette swapped a regular 29 model for the cutscenes.
  9. $150 is a good price. I'm almost tempted for a third.
  10. Both of those pics are of Isamu's 29.
  11. How else are you going to get the things you want then? If it's niche, more money. If it has better transformation gimmicks, more money. If it was a lesser product it wouldn't be as desireable. That's a rock and a hard place, but you're blaming them for being the rock and not selling you the hard place for half that price. If this were released a bit further out from the 0D I'd be more likely to take the plunge, personally. It's a bad release time IMO.
  12. I'm already in for one of those...
  13. Don't know what to do about this, I used to have a little Orguss toy that I always kept with the Robotech stuff. I thought it was a cool design but had no idea what it was, never saw the show. This thing brings back some of the nostalgia and I like the design but Megahouse isn't known for their products staying in one piece. Plus that's a lot of money right after the 0D...
  14. I went for that VT-1. I was way overrun there.
  15. Honestly the shoulder's on both of mine are fine. i've had my own unique issue I've yet to post a picture of for suggestions how to fix it. But it's not any kind of breakage due to plastic, it's a defect in one of the screws used instead.
  16. Based on the screen shots, it looks largely like an up-rezzed SF4.
  17. You obviously don't understand how Skynet worked at the end of T3, or how radiation affects electronics.
  18. To be honest, at that point the entire look of Judgement Day should have changed. There's no way a device that relies on being matrixed across the planet is going to start irradiating large portions of it. That will ruin, at the very least, the fiber interconnecting it's own brain across the continents, and radiation tends to do very bad things to basic electrical components in general even when heavily shielded for space use (part of the reason why every portion of a spacecraft is done in triplicate.) LA likely would have still been in ruins but far less so as keeping the infrastructure of the world intact would have been preeminent to Skynet's survival.
