That sucks man. Dunno how widespread it is. Both my Hikaru and Max 1J's are fine but I don't ever transform them from Battroid and only rarely pose them so maybe there hasn't been enough wear.

Nowhere on that poster does it say "Produced By EXO." -

I actually like the way the split wings look on the X-Wings. I can't say much or the scene itself. What I don't care for is most of the cinematography. That whole sequence with the Falcon just felt so off on so many levels. The junker speeder bike was kinda cool, not everything has to look sleek and awesome. Utilitarian isn't always beautiful.

Looking at that screen shot versus the actual prototype I still keep feeling like the lighter of the two blue colors is too light or too vibrant or something.

I would imagine they would make a second 25 book that covers more of the add-ons like the Tornado Packs, etc... and then have a whole section on the 29 as a follow on instead of a book totally based on the 29.

I read a bit about this movie once I saw that trailer, pretty much specifically because of the odd Raptor/Motorcycle scene. Apparently Chris Pratt's character was hired to "train" the Dinosaurs. So those Raptors are his trained "pets?"

Eugene has the potential to be a far more sympathetic character than any of you guys are giving credit for. At the moment he's a counter point to the cowardly Priest, Eugene finally fessed up (a bit of bravery) and has proved useful. The Priest has been well and truly useless and has made zero indication of changing his cowardice.

No more than the 25's had.

I recall the HI-Metal line in its original form being considered awfully expensive for their size and non-PT status. Now that there aren't $90-$120 Yammies what makes you think these things aren't suddenly going to cost $100+? Every other Valk from both Bandai and Arcadia have had a price hike, these things won't be a better value if they have to rise in price as well.

I found a way around this, I have a buddy who likes to design squadron markings/etc and build small models. I'm going to have him come over and we're going to customize some various squadrons. That will split up the effort for me.

And nobody else from that group has wasted lives/resources? Rosita filtered water for the entire group via a method Eugene taught her. He saved them that same episode while unconscious. He's not useless.

So you guys have completely missed all of the stuff Eugene taught the people he was with about how to sterilize water, etc... in addition to being clever enough to fool a whole group of people? He has brains... they're f.u.c.k.ing useful.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the end of the little screw out without damaging the Valk. Nothing I've tried so far has worked. And any other methods I do know run the risk of breaking the plastic. I've never tried drilling into the center of a screw so tiny either.
-
Soooooo, does anybody know the size of the screws that go in the hips of the 171? I still have to fish out the end of the sheared-off old one and put a new screw in.

Ah, I see. I noticed that too. I wasn't sure if I was crazy or being hypercritical but something about under the nose kept on bothering me too. Now that you've pointed it out that's exactly what I was seeing too. I'm not convinced all of these stylized tweaks will be to my liking but I'm willing to buy one because I'm curious how they've implemented some of the toy. I still maintain they did some good stuff on the HI-Metals even though I thoroughly hate how fighter and gerwalk look.
-
I'm curious what you're referring to.

I'm echoing this. That pic of the SDFM next to the DYRL version is absolute proof the SDFM SDF-1 is in every way superior in look and has been given the short end of the stick for the last thirty years.

I would like to see a straight on side-shot of this thing. Everything has been off-angle by a bit.
-
Kind of cool they included that little addition for the neck piece, however it also adds some goofy kibble to the back of the shield at the same time.
-
I'm in for one. I like the white schemes they have going with these 171s.

I guess they chose to pose the two new 27's in Battroid to show the distinction between the head sculpts? Because that's the absolute weakest mode on these 1.5 Renewals. I'd only ever keep them in fighter/gerwalk.
