If you could track that back down I'd love to hear the whole story.

Unfortunately there's a bit of an additional bump on the back of the fighter where the Dish attaches to. It's not just flat, like the Alto version, with some peg holes. Part of the base of the Dish is attached to the back of the Valk. I haven't tried to remove that part yet but it looks attached to me. Plus there's some additional holes for the rest of the dish to plug in to. So it's not quite like the Alto but it works okay.

Perhaps Isamu is a savvy investor? I wouldn't ever buy that. The father of a buddy of mine was just a regular Air Force pilot and in his sixties he's still just as cocky and full of himself as he was in his twenties. I don't think those kinds of test pilot personalities ever really go away. Look at Buzz Aldrin, he still has attitude today.

Both of mine showed up today (Happy belated Birthday to me!) The additional weight from the dish and fin does make posing in gerwalk a tad bit difficult. I'd take some photos of Fighter and Gerwalk (I hate the half-assed way they handled Battroid here so I won't ever transform that far) but this weekend is extremely busy and I'm heading out the door for the evening.

It's an interesting story but I feel like it doesn't fit in with Isamu's personality at all. He was a test pilot and was interested in pushing the envelope as far as possible. Why would he want to settle on a YF-19 model when he could be gunning for some bigger, better fighter like a 24/25/29/30/etc... He'd want the thing coming after all of those, not try to take a fighter and make it into something older.

Avengers: Infinity War - in theaters April 27, 2018

Okay, so I just read Thanos Quest. Did Death really pull the most cosmic "it's not you, it's me" on Thanos? -

Well yeah, murderous AI seems like a threat we could face. Big purple guy in love with Death is a bit too fantastical to feel like a threat. -
I'll buy one out of curiosity but I'm already skeptical just based on the proportions and decisions made in Battroid plus I think Bandai has been continually dropping the ball since they started adding on all of their silly clamps/clips/half-assed add-on parts that I really don't have faith that they've put this thing together right.

Man, that is effing weak. A HUGE selection of the Silver Surfer stuff isn't available with Marvel Unlimited. No go on #50. They do have Thanos Quest however. -
I still want to know what that kibble is on the upper back portion of the shield.

$20 says it will be $200+

Why would you have your fuel pods split into two pieces during a transformation? What do you mean by long? In Fighter? I'm wondering what the curves might be like in fighter mode. They don't have that bit of extra bump on the chest piece like Arcadia do, nor is there any flexion in the lower support piece, however that was in service to keeping the fuselage shaped a certain way in Fighter. The more rounded look is something Bandai did on their Hi-Metal series and it looked.... bad, IMO.
-
Interesting that the lower support piece beneath the nose cone protrudes farther than the upper chest piece does.

Which makes no damn sense considering they practically look like the missile boxes on the 25. What's with the odd kibble on the back of the shield? The ankles already look far superior to the terrible Yamcadia version. Are the calf panels collapseable or something? What's with the weird split/cut at the top near the knee? It looks like the fast packs attach like my original idea, both at the wing root and the hard point closest to the fuselage. You probably can't fold the wings in in battroid because of that. This must be what Jenius was alluding to when he said Bandai wasn't happy Arcadia beat them to something.

I'll check that out then, thanks. -
This last episode actually proved that Rick was right after the season opener when he wanted to go back into Terminus and wipe them all out and the rest of the group told him no. None of it would have been necessary if they had finished the job like he wanted to.

Odd, the gray bits on the shoulders just split in two. It's a bit odd they're advertising it in Battroid given that it was NEVER SEEN in Battroid. I'm a bit skeptical of what Fighter mode will look like.

I've never actually read the Infinity War though just looking at the comic listings online I apparently own the last two of the series. Not sure why i don't have the rest. Maybe because I never found the cosmic stuff all that interesting so I never pursued the rest? -

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread
Mommar replied to renegadeleader1's topic in Movies and TV Series
From a business standpoint formally adopting the VF-24 would be a good idea and Bandai wouldn't really have to make new molds for some of the fighters. Would get pretty boring for our collections, however.- 2715 replies

The armor parts were no different between Alto and the CF. And by Dome I mean the entire support structure attached to the back?
