It's still a good pic of fighter mode.

Was just retweeted by Mr K a few hours ago though.

Looks like a new pic. For some odd reason it wouldn't let me post the larger version.

Does anybody know what the size of the screws are that hold the socket in the hips together? The masochist in me attempted to put one of these in Battroid and the left leg was super tight. Then it was super loose. I took the hip apart and the top screw of the hip socket was broken. Shoot, I can't even get the bottom half of the broken screw out. Damn, looks like the top screw is smaller than the bottom too... even if I could get the sheared bottom half out of the hole.

Yeah, that blue actually seems more wrong. And less attractive in my opinion.

I don't know, the joints in the pelvis are holding pretty well on the goofy YF-30 Gerwalk. They may have figured some of this out. I guess we'll see in a year.

Oh no, it can be quite sculpted at times. I certainly hope it wasn't the Southern accent that put you off, because we have plenty of brilliant people with those accents around these parts as well.

What was the adjustment on the shoulders? They're a bit higher now?

I don't think there's anything different about those Ghosts.

It's pretty easy to keep all of the 25/27/29's in scale with each other when THEY'RE ALL THE SAME PLANE.

Eugene is lying... ...should've waited until the end to say it I guess.

They always end the mid-season on a weird note. This isn't anything out of the ordinary.

While Goyer managed to make things work for Blade (yes, Blade is what managed to get comic book movies working before Spiderman or X-Men) I just don't think he's sophisticated enough to run an entire franchise in the same way Fiege is managing the Marvel properties. Then again I don't really know what DC fans want as I've never really read their comics. From my perspective none of these movies are interesting. Even if Marvel have chosen some oddball topics I'm not fond of, Guardians was one and Inhumans is another, they've manged to pull things off in a way I'm at least very curious and hopeful. WB and DC I have zero faith in, and Man of Steel didn't really even bother me like it did most. I don't want to be that guy but "up most" is nonsense. Utmost is a word.

But we're all talking about things that will actually happen. I'm not talking about how the backpack is attached in Battroid. I think that little mechanism breaks the look of the toy. The T-Bar works relatively fine. I just meant the way they designed the pelvic joints to extend out a bit to give it more dynamic posing. I really do enjoy posing the hi-metals in battroid. They work extremely well, although their much smaller size means weight isn't as big an issue on joints. it's just the other modes that look, imo, terrible. That's why I'm waiting for these 19 pics. The Battroid will likely pose well (though to be honest, minus the totally crap ankles, the Yamcadia one already poses real well in Battroid.) I'm not convinced fighter and gerwalk are going to look good (though gerwalk will pose great.)

There's still things to fix in the VF-1 anyway. Bandai's Hi-Metal design for the shoulder transformation was a good idea. It's disappointing to see the Arcadia 0D is still reusing the same shoulder mechanism from way back when we've seen a better method in the hi-metal. The hip mechanism on the hi-metals were also a great idea for getting more range of poseability as well. There's things to tweak/perfect in a V3. We are drifting quite far off topic now. Very interested to see fighter mode.

The Vader looks great. Too bad the Stormtrooper doesn't look nearly as good as the Hasbro one. I imagine, like the other Figuarts figures, this Vader won't quite measure up to any of the Hasbro versions just like their Iron Man figures are all slightly too short to look good next to the Marvel Legends figures.

So when Tenjin commented to Arcadia the 0D's color was wrong he absolutely knew what it was supposed to be, huh?

Does not explain the ugly, blotchy intake arrows on both the Bandai and Yamato Valks, however.
-
Comparing both the old Yamato Tampo for stuff like the red intake arrows to both decal versions and the tampo on the Bandai's reinforces why I dislike so much tampo. Small details are lost, or the tampo has to be a proportionate size larger than would fit the aircraft in order to show up. It wins up looking like an unsightly giant splotch where it doesn't need to be. I still don't like those gastly over-sized No Step tampo's on the 171 and 30.
