I'm still trying to figure out how to get the end of the little screw out without damaging the Valk. Nothing I've tried so far has worked. And any other methods I do know run the risk of breaking the plastic. I've never tried drilling into the center of a screw so tiny either.

Soooooo, does anybody know the size of the screws that go in the hips of the 171? I still have to fish out the end of the sheared-off old one and put a new screw in.

Ah, I see. I noticed that too. I wasn't sure if I was crazy or being hypercritical but something about under the nose kept on bothering me too. Now that you've pointed it out that's exactly what I was seeing too. I'm not convinced all of these stylized tweaks will be to my liking but I'm willing to buy one because I'm curious how they've implemented some of the toy. I still maintain they did some good stuff on the HI-Metals even though I thoroughly hate how fighter and gerwalk look.

I'm echoing this. That pic of the SDFM next to the DYRL version is absolute proof the SDFM SDF-1 is in every way superior in look and has been given the short end of the stick for the last thirty years.

I would like to see a straight on side-shot of this thing. Everything has been off-angle by a bit.

Kind of cool they included that little addition for the neck piece, however it also adds some goofy kibble to the back of the shield at the same time.

I would absolutely shell out for Brera's Ghosts if they made them. I love how the look.

I guess they chose to pose the two new 27's in Battroid to show the distinction between the head sculpts? Because that's the absolute weakest mode on these 1.5 Renewals. I'd only ever keep them in fighter/gerwalk.

I'll just echo, while I like my Isamu and Ozma 29's they are definitely steps down in engineering from the V2 25's. They were obviously prototypes.

Interesting. Bandai must have done some research here. Note the two Destroids shown, the two that are NEVER made but often requested. I wonder how those battlepods will work out.

Well, gone for a week and I've certainly missed a lot. I really liked the color scheme in the game but this looks... it doesn't look like how I would have pictured it in real life. Maybe it's the lighting in the showroom but the lighter color looks a bit more vibrant than I imagined.

Provided the factory can get the color right, we at least know they know what the color should be. That's at least very promising.

Actually, they are. Gerwalk works because the weight distribution is different and it's not a problem tipping forward like the 19 series, but my 17S is just as floppy as my YF-19. Now the VF-4 I've not had any ankle problems with personally.

Doesn't matter if it's a fighter-mode only Valk or not, it's horrible engineering and shouldn't be included on another $300+ toy.

Please, somebody who knows Japanese emphasize how TERRIBLE the YF-19 ankles are. And be as harsh as possible.

Actually, the 4G is a fair point in one respect. It's the last of the animated leads to be released. Once the 1J with the armor is out that's it for every lead character variant from every animation except for the FB2012 VF-4. And, of course, Macross 2... but I'd expect a VF-4 re-issue long before they ever bothered with a 2SS mold.

I'm glad the spoiler video's were posted, now I'm not going to waste three hours of my life on a movie I know I'm not going to like. I'm not really sure who has been forgiving The Dark Knight Rises. From what I understand it was quite panned and considered the worst of the three (though I feel it has the best pacing.) -
