  1. I guess I'll be the bitchy one who wakes up Tuesday and can't pre-order because I don't stay up all night for pieces of plastic, I reserve that for women only.
  2. So the problem is that we are semi-attributing real world solutions to cartoon/magic situations. Given that it's a spacecraft that operates in space real world applications concludes triplicate in everything. That's how it's done. Granted, Overtechnology possibly surpasses all of the radiation/heat damage issues that may be encountered and situation no longer exists. We've been discussing semi-real world situations and in that instance you'd have to apply all of the situations of space too. I'm perfectly saying "it's magic" and letting it slide. Given that none of that other stuff matters, you'd still want at least two engines because floating about in space sucks.
  3. I'll second this thought.
  4. Did you read the article? It's not happening. It's a semi-prequel that takes place during the initial outbreak in LA. I doubt we'll see any cross-over.
  5. Given they're all aerospace technically the engines should be in triplicate then.
  6. Cool, I'm forcing my nephew to watch it. Too bad it isn't backed with Darkwing Duck, but then I feel like I'm the only person who ever liked that (he was Disney's freaking Batman for Christ sakes it was RIPE for movie treatment but instead we got several, awful, Goof Troop movies.)
  7. I would say a salt wash plus putting it under direct, bright, sunlight. Despite the protests I already posted many pics from indoors/outdoors night-time, etc... and the damn thing never looks the same even in the same scenes. I think it's still darker than the base color should be but I'd bet a particular kind of weathering is probably what would bring out a more accurate color.
  8. Now that I think about it I'm not as sure all three were re-released as I can only think of the Max and Kaki right now. But given there was a four year gap between when I bought the Hikaru and the other two, yeah, they're going to be different. The latter two were "oh crap, Yamato is going under" purchases. And they were super cheap at HKCollectibles as well.
  9. Given it isn't Ozma or Isamu I'm going to assume it won't be as massive a seller. Hopefully.
  10. NY says shipping is being prepped. Bit too bad about the dark colors considering how many weren't going to buy this if it wasn't exactly right.
  11. All three DYRL 1A's were re-released a year or so before Yamato's demise with the new canopy and crotch. My Max and Kaki 1A's don't match my Hikaru because of that.
  12. I think it's interesting that Vision shows up on the movie posters but nowhere else. Not a single trailer glimpse or anything.
  13. In some of the Gerwalk pics they appear to have the same ball-joint the VF-17 and YF/VF-19 have.
  14. I'm on the edge of my seat concerning what I will have to say in said review.
  15. What's with Widow's glowey suit? Is she super powered up or something? I noticed some neon blue piping on her upcoming Hasbro figure too. But on this poster it's glowing. Pretty hacky photoshop job either way. And does that look like VIsion is attacking the Avengers there with Ultron?
  16. I should have been more clear, even though Cap looks cool he and Hulk and Thor have a very specific look that doesn't fit with my other figures. And I'm not interested in having different setups between movies/comics/etc. Iron Man is the only one that fits with the comic book stuff well.
  17. Kinda wish I had known it was NSFW prior to watching it... at work. and FYI, it's NSFW. Nudity. And Dobber didn't mention it stars Katee Sackoff and James Van Der Beek (who also wrote it.) Also, this is supposedly the unnamed short film that got Katee Sackoff short-listed to play Captain Marvel... and in my opinion a very fantastic reason why I DO NOT WANT HER to play Captain Marvel.
  18. Look at that shadow in the back... Too bad there's no Black Widow, Vision, Scarlet Witch or Quicksilver. Then again I don't like the look of the movie versions of Scarlet Witch or Quicksilver.
  19. I sure wouldn't have recommended the Yamato YF-19....
  20. While people do need to keep bugging them about it Palladium has been delivering late for three decades now.
  21. Why is Melissa McCarthy a thing now? Has she ever been funny? I suppose I should stop asking these questions, Seth Rogan and Judd Apatow have been things for a while now and they're both terrible too.
