I don't think so. I think it's just an addition for personal customization options. They've left off the UN Spacy on almost every release since the 19 at Yamato, actually, and given decals for both UN Spacy and NUNS in the case of the 17/19. I guess they decided they would do the same for the 0's so people could have 0's in other regimes if people liked. Any other way you could do that would involve scrubbing the side of the plane and potentially rubbing off the paint or attempting to match the paint and covering it then adding your own. I guess they thought anybody could make it how they wanted?

As far as I can tell except for the UN Spacy Kites and red triangles around the intakes everything else on all of the prototypes have been stickers. I know some people are disappointed but if you look at the sticker sheet it appears they're giving people the option to put UN Spacy, UN Marines, UN Navy, etc... on the plane instead. Which would be cool if it weren't for the fact they tampo'd UN Spacy on the Gunpod already. Well, good news. Looks like the D is out for delivery right now. So at least it's getting here the original day they claimed it would. But with a 52 hour hang up in Japan that would have originally been Monday, no doubt.

For one, very large flat surfaces cost a whole lot more to manufacture than a bunch of smaller pieces. And if you haven't noticed the 0D is pretty much all one giant flat surface.

It never tells you the destination. Though I got fed up with the multiple long waits and contacted someone at FedEx directly to ask why things were held up. All they could tell me was it was en route to Memphis and it should be here Thursday instead of Wednesday. Your tracking still estimates Wednesday, however, so I don't know. But it sounds like your package was held up in a similar way to mine.

That Gerwalk pic is really doing it for me. I'm assuming while the tanks on the shoulders are removable that there aren't secondary ones with slots so we can attach the additional missile pods, right? Also, what's the Mic for?

Something appears to be going on with Fed Ex in Japan right now. All of us who shipped by them are having strange hang ups. I pointed out a page back that my 0D was held for nearly forty hours in Sennan-Shi over the weekend for some strange reason. I was beginning to wonder if Japan had a Holiday or if there was a labor dispute or something. It's odd, and I'm going to complain to Fed Ex about it. Does your estimated arrival still say Wednesday? Mine used to, now it's in perpetual N/A limbo.

I don't have a YF-21 but I had intended to take a pic with every blue Macross craft I have (Max 1A/1J/22S, VF-19, VF-25) But I get the feeling somebody else on this board will have the ability/time to do it before me.

Well that blows, it looks like my 0D has been sitting around in Sennan-Shi all fricking weekend. I won't see the damn thing 'till I'm back from Seattle next weekend. Damn, it sat for almost forty hours!

I'm totally confused about where my 0D is anymore. The last entry is leaving Japan on Friday with an estimated arrival of Wednesday. Now there's been no status updates and the estimated arrival is N/A...

I don't really understand why they're releasing the D, A and S all in the same year. Seems like a batch of $300 toys would be a bad idea especially considering they said Zero didn't sell well. Unless that wasn't entirely true and it's just their kinda floppy 0's didn't sell well and they think these will do better. And maybe next years new mold will be an updated SV-51.
