That would be a far more complex conversion than just for the model kits.
-
It's labelled as 1/72 below it.

Really shouldn't be hard for either company to make some minor retools on their respective products. Well, the Caliburn would take a little bit. New shoulders/legs. Thicker wings. And then the stubby stabilizers up front. I think that's it. If I had the time/money/talent I'd dismantle a Yamcadia 19's legs, figure out the inner mechanism and then redesign it to be like the Caliburn.
-
Isn't that what the EF version could be?
-
It would be very cool to have that, really. Of course I'd have to learn how to paint first, but what an assortment to customize! VF-1/4/11/17/19/21 and soon to be the 0D as well (I'd wager a 0S is coming too.)
-
So these are customizations for the Bandai and Yamcadia Valks then?
-
It's due to ship the last week of February. You will not have it by your birthday.

The utter insanity of this needs to be shared. Jeff Bridges, The Dude, made an ambient music album to help people speak. It's just sound effects and him talking and humming, etc... Whole album can be streamed here: http://www.dreamingwithjeff.com/

I only just got to look at the painted up pics for that kit. It's... very odd. It's like a fourth interpretation of the SDF-1. I've never been a DYRL variant fan but I can say both the Yamato and Yellow Submarine versions LOOK like what is seen in DYRL. Being an SDFM fan this has all of the straight, hard lines and flat surfaces but with the overall design of the DYRL version. It's strange to look at. I think someone at Hase just needs to make the SDFM version.

This just gave me an idea, Arcadia can make a $20,000 1/3000 Nupetiet-Vergnitzs to go with their SDF-1 as a Wonderfest exclusivejust like the life sized Gunpod from last year.

I don't like waterslides.
-
Nope, only his 25 does. It was a big mistake matching the gunpod to the other 29's IMO.
-
I'm looking forward to decaling.
-
Christ, how many people are managing to get multiples of this thing now???
-
1/48+fp's, 1/60+fp's, 1/72, 1/2k, 1/3k,1/100 and now 1/144

Wow, brave. I don't dare leave the Tornado Parts on my 25's. There's just too much flexing for me to feel safe leaving them on. I had to settle for Super parts and the Tornado cannons for my G in Battroid and an in-atmosphere bare Gerwalk with the cannons attached for my Alto. -
It's on sale at Nippon-Yasan right now...
-
I guess I don't have to offer mine then.
-
Oh damn, no super wicked pics from you then???
-
For a few weeks possibly. The 19 was available maybe a month after release at HLJ. They hooked me up with a replacement a week and a half after release after Amiami tried to screw me on the broken one.
-
I'll give a thorough review, like I did with the 19 last year. If I can get off my duff, and possibly get better lighting, I'll do a video review as well. That was actually my original plan with the 19 but between the breakage and shipping times I gave up.
-
My 19P took a topple off a very high shelf so one of the rear fins has a dent in the edge of the plastic now. Otherwise it survived the fall and nothing actually broke.

Oh, I really want the 0D. I love Delta Wings. But in addition I'd like there to not be some surprising stupid, like non-locking wings or ankles that haven't been fixed.
-
So barring any oddities (heh) I do get the feeling this is at least going to match the VF-1 in terms of quality. I hope I'm right. The wait and curiosity has been long and hard for me.
-
I'm very excited to find out how this release turns out. Hopefully I'll be more positive about it.
-
I suppose I have to wonder why Bandai couldn't make their model as well as yours? Everything about your proportions are better.
