  1. I paid $310 for mine on release. It was anywhere between $290 and $330 depending on where/when you pre-ordered. It was a short, made-to-order run. Literally, these things shipped and a day later the company who made them closed its doors. Given it's likely to never be produced again and the stock was extremely limited on release "fair" is relative to how badly you want it.
  2. Make it possible to pre-order one...
  3. My theory is that due to the angle of the arms/attachment in fighter mode it's actually the most likely to break/crumble if you keep it in fighter.

Other than the swing bar and the feet on the VF-1's there wasn't any other metal from what I recall. At that size it would weigh the joints down too much to have a bunch of metal.

Still the old fighters, I guess. That profile shot still looks like the originals. I'd like to know more about the Regults and Monster.
  6. No there aren't any schematics at all. It's a story book, not technical, the only thing uncolored is some of the character art. Everything else is CG models on photographs or the top/bottom livery images.
  7. So as an F mode guy does the pic of fighter mode there do it for you?
  8. It is and it isn't. I should have been specific to the style of wings on the F/S models as the EF has it's own, sort of stubby style of wing. We need one of those as a toy as well. When were those EF's in operation? Would be cool to see them in Delta. As a matter of fact it would be a good idea to put them in there. Bandai could rework their 19 mold and have another one to milk.
  9. When you spoke to me like I was wrong after admitting you didn't have the book, when in a post one above I said it had arrived, you went ahead and assumed you knew what you were talking about and tried to prove to me you were right. There's a difference between being wrong and being stupid. If you wanted to see the pic you could have just asked instead of trying to challenge or attempt to disprove me. But this is the first time we've seen one of the stubby winged versions with the canards. There is a photo difference between the two 19 images. The first, it's definitely within atmosphere. The second, if it's in the atmosphere it's VERY high up, possibly an exit trajectory? I can't read Japanese so I don't know. Regardless, I think the stubby wings with the canards is rather attractive.
  10. Case in point, you should stop pretending you know everything. Jackass. You want to eat my ass with jam or syrup?
  11. I agree here. Given that the likelihood of another 1/60 2SS toy being made is essentially 0% anyone of us who are fans of the design are going to nitpick it because it HAS to be perfect. Think about how many people backed out on the 0D just because the color was darker than they liked. That's just the color. This thing has mold issues, and given that a HUGE portion of the 2SS fanbase talk about how great the "lines" are on the design (barring some necessary changes because of reality) it really has to be perfect to make them happy. Plus, it's not a $120 V1 proposition. $300 for the beta version won't cut it. I will still probably get one because this will be it for the 2SS, I believe, but that doesn't mean I won't have criticisms that I won't voice.
  12. Excitement rising. Can't wait for the both of these.
  13. Know what, I really love the look of that white and orange striped VF-19. But it's even more unique because it has the stubby F/S wings BUT it also has canards like the earlier 19 designs.
  14. We still need to face the idea that not even NY could have any of these left-over. It has happened in the past, regardless of how we might feel about their market pricing tactics. I'm still skeptical there will be any available at release.
  15. Being a Gerwalk guy I actually like the look on this thing (it is just a VF-1 all fancied up anyway.) I know some proportions need to be accounted for but the entire back section is just wrong. The intake needs to sit along the spine of the craft and be shorter. The two smaller side intakes need to sit on the back of the craft as well, not propped up on thick pylons with giant, ugly hinges. The back should actually be longer but I can understand having to shorten it up for practical transforming purposes. There's a lot of weird proportional stuff going on, and Nyankodevice has already proven you can make it work with far more accurate proportions at a smaller scale (1/100) on a modified model kit. I hope they fix it. I've wanted a 2SS... but I don't want this one right now.
  16. Son of a bitch, the new 19 attachment clips on farther back too??? I need some money for some of these!!!
  17. If NY ends up having some after the fact I'm buying from there, period.
  18. Does anybody know anything about the quality of this toy company? The more I look at it the less I like Gerwalk. There are several things about the joints, and those super thick pauldrons holding up the smaller intakes on top, that kind of worry me.
