  1. Well, yeah, I'm mostly just basing it off of the fact the toys don't function like that really when the feet are in position in fighter and you never see them moving in that manner during the show but if you factor in that 171 photograph shows there's some internal adjustments being made even as the feet stay in position. If you think of it that way, when the feet are able to move PLUS you have that internal motion that really increases the maneuverability in the other two modes.
  2. Nah, you can find somebody crooked anywhere. Though I have heard Amiami is run by some French people.
  3. I'm hoping for the canopy as well, I prefer that look.
  4. Unfortunately that clip doesn't have the launching sequence because you get a good look at the whole thing while in the hanger. Even still.
  5. While the feet do move in three dimensions when extended for Gerwalk/Battroid that doesn't mean they have the freedom for 3D movement when recessed. That doesn't mean they don't have internal systems that can't move in 3D, that 171 pic clearly shows an internal mechanism for that.
  6. They're offering all of that of their own volition and not threatening to ban you from the store? Take it, it's what I fought them tooth and nail for weeks for and I can't shop there anymore.
  7. You can watch just the part with that armor on youtube.
  8. Damn, that's a good looking fighter.
  9. Well they're the only one's who had it available so if I don't get it, f.u.c.k Bandai.
  10. Which episode is that scene from?
  11. Apparently the charge from Play-Asia set off my Credit Cards security and they called me about it.
  12. You're getting a way better deal then they offered me for my broken YF-19. They would only give me $15 store credit. I had to push on them for weeks to get a return. In the end they finally gave me all my money back but I can't order from them anymore. Not that I'd ever want to after how they treated me.
  13. I was concerned about doing that, the backpack of this 1S is pretty damn tight. I'll give it a go again and see if it's just a bit of nerves keeping me from going all the way. Thanks. Or course, it's already in Battroid and I think there are some different forces in play on the backpack at that angle that might be tightening up the plastic as well. No real way to unfold it due to the angle of the flap.
  14. Ugh, based on that image it looks like there's going to be no way to get this thing open without breaking it. Dammit.
  15. Dammit. That doesn't bode well at all.
  16. So in the midst of transforming my VF-1S to Battroid my thumb managed to misplace the flap on the bottom of the packback. Totally pushed it through where it isn't supposed to go and it's pretty clear trying to force it to go back is going to break something somehwere. Anybody know if it's possible to dismantle this bit so I can put the flap on the right side of the backpack or am I screwed now?
  17. That's what I've been told, they were also the only place that claimed to have some available so it was my only option.
  18. Play Asia just charged me for the VF-19.
  19. The locking section for the nose could have been a super strong magnet and been a lot safer.
  20. This sounds like anti-HG, Palladium, Robotech thinking clouding sound reasoning in favor of trying to hate them from another angle. They already have most of this stuff tooled. They're not new molds being made with backer money, and if they've managed to squeeze new things out and want to sell them to me since I can't go to the Con's then that's pretty cool. They sold Max and Milia models made from 3D printed materials based on what was going to be released for the Kickstarter already anyway, that was off the back of the Kickstarter but didn't take advantage of anybody. Note: "Things that are being made here in the US and will not take much time away from our energy to get Wave Two into your hands." IE assets that have already been made or can be easily duplicated, like the 3D printed Valks from the previous Cons that are already customized for you. This is no big deal at all.
  21. What do you mean that it's hard to stand up in Battroid? Is there some floppy leg syndrome with this Valk? My C's stand up just fine. I don't own a B, however, so maybe there was a tweak made between the molds to help with that?
  22. I really think this matte painted 27 is proof that the entire Frontier Line should have been matte.
  23. That is mostly what I do with it. lol The few pics it does have are great though.
  24. I don't really see why it's a problem that they're allowing the backers who can't make it to the conventions a way to purchase con-only toys. That's actually a pretty cool gesture.
  25. It's a web exclusive so there's no such thing as a "wide pre-order." Anyplace that will order the Tamashii Web Exclusives is fair game. But you won't be seeing these pop up at Hobby Link Japan or Amazon. It's only certain specialty places like NY who will sell it. Can some other people chime in with which online shops take the Tamashii Web exclusive orders? I don't really understand why they didn't just go ahead and at least make Hawkeye and Black Widow (and Vision) web exclusives too. Japan doesn't have the same issue with "female figures don't sell" that the US suffers do they? I mean, they make female EVERYTHING! I hope the figuarts stuff isn't starting to take a dive, however. Some of the latest releases don't seem to be getting the same praise past releases have and some of the choices they've made for articulation and joints is baffling. So "because I can." I don't care if it's official, I'm not going to play with it. A hollowed out husk for a $50 toy isn't useful. The High speed mode is official on the YF-19 as well and it sucks and should never have been included on that toy either. Gimmicks sometimes break things, they don't all need to be included.
