    Just need to pick up my two First Order ST's and Death Star Movie REalization Vader at Fed Ex this afternoon. Kylo Ren isn't expected to show up until Christmas Eve.

    No, we already saw pics with the cannons flipped out along the sides of the legs under the wings in Fighter mode.

    Why wouldn't you stay? The music is as much a character in Star Wars as anything else. You'd be walking out on part of the story as far as I'm concerned.

    I think size to style-wise Mafex has the best version of Vader out there. The sad thing about the Figuarts Vader is that they couldn't even keep it in scale with their RotJ Luke. Luke is taller than Vader is. Vader is supposed to be ~6'6". That being said Adam Driver is 6'3" so not that far off, but he should be a tad shorter than Vader is. I think somebody at Bandai screwed up and undersized Vader, like he was supposed to be in scale with the Avengers line instead of the Star Wars line or something.

    Given the fact that at release they're all getting in a few pieces of each maybe I should wait and see if I can nab a Captain Phasma around release time instead.

    Yeah, the Post Office around New Mexico is horrendous. I always pay extra for Fed Ex to avoid dealing with them. Plus now I'm never home to pick up packages and FedEx stays open later and it's closer to where my Mom's Long Term Care Facility is so I can easily pick stuff up from them.

    I haven't seen any. I can't do a comparison of Kylo Ren, I never got the Black Series version. I do have two Black Series First Order Storm Troopers so I can do those, however I'd imagine if you wait a week or so they'll have a review plus comparison up on The Fwoosh. One of the guys there gets all of the figures, even the Bandai model kits that fit together like the Gundam models do, he already compared the Black Series, Bandai Model Kit and Figuarts versions of Vader and the Storm Troopers so I imagine he'll do one for the new Stormtroopers as well. If you're curious about scale the Figuarts Kylo Ren is posed next to the Figuarts First Order Stormtrooper and Figuarts Vader. I can tell you that the Figuarts Vader is undersized and is about as tall as a Black Series Stormtrooper. Kylo Ren is the same size as that Figuarts Vader so it's safe to assume he's undersized too as the Black Series original and First Order Stormtroopers stand at about the same height. The Black Series First Order Stormtroopers will stand quite a bit taller than the Figuarts ones given the Figuart FO Stormtrooper is shorter than both Vader and Kylo in that picture as well.

    For those of you who use Hobby Link Japan often, what does it mean if three of your orders show a release date but the last one says "Discontinued?" Kylo Ren is not listed as being released this month. I'm wondering if I should jump over to Nippon-Yasan real fast and buy one there if HLJ isn't actually going to send me anything.

    Really? They didn't yet? I have Fed Ex tracking and everything already. And today they shipped the second Death Star version Movie Realization Vader.

    Yeah, when he said he never liked the franchise to begin with. Regardless, you don't go around telling everybody the last thing your boss did sucked ass within earshot. That's not how you keep getting work.

    From what I understand she pretty much has no screen time in this film... so close to this.

    NY just shipped my two First Order Stormtroopers. HLJ seems to be taking their time with Kylo Ren.

    That's political speak for, "it sucked but JJ is executive producer and I don't want to be fired so we'll just not mention it either way." Which is actually a good thing, because Simon Pegg had a similar non-comment about Into Darkness.

    They're not really "playing nice" with the spoilers. They've been told not to reveal anything in their reviews specifically by Disney/Lucasfilm.

    Yup, that's the same one I read that came off as the exact same criticism as JJ's Star Trek films. The difference being it's slightly more okay that a Star Wars film be like this. And suddenly George Lucas' comment, "the fans will love it" shows a sly backhand. If only his directing was that smart.
