Battlestar Galactica Discussion IV with Blood And Chrome
Mommar replied to 505thAirborne's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Speaking of which, if they can't get Rick Moranis then it isn't worth it. He MADE that first film.- 700 replies

I still need a 1/60 VT-1.

I'll second that, I've wanted a proper 2SS for twenty years but I look at the pics and I just can't do it. I've spent a lot of money on a toy before but despite the many flaws we've had on both our Yamcadia and Bandai Valks at least they all look great on the shelf. This thing looks so terribly cheap and miss-proportioned. The finish on the white, and especially the green fast packs, looks atrociously bad. Really, really, can in no way convince me to purchase type bad.

And I still don't care about a Han Solo movie. -

I don't know, I always liked the look of that comic version. I might need to look over my funds and see. I might give it a go. Haven't owned another Sentinel... but that's for another thread I suppose. So no other pics of the new Figuarts Avengers stuff surfaced?

I sincerely doubt there will ever be a bundle. That would be too expensive. Think about how huge the 0's are already, now look at how much more MASSIVE that armor makes the already big 0 look. We're looking at ~$150-$200 for this armor, I guarantee it.

You want to reminesce about not being able to find things. Try being a kid in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 80's. We didn't have s**t. My first real accessible VF-1 was the Masterpiece collection POS in the early 2000's. The only real merchandise I was able to pick up as a kid, and I still have no idea where my father found it, was one of those little die cast matchbox SDF-1's in Storm Attack mode which I still have and cherish to this day.

Dang, looked it up. It's about the same price as the Figuarts Hulkbuster, $310 at HLJ right now. And it's 25cm's, just shy of ten inches tall. It definitely looks like one of the comic book versions. To be honest I'd be into getting this one as well, I just don't have the funds.

0S crumbled??? Fhat would be the first report we've heard of this unless you're referring to the old Yamato releases.

Isn't Sentinel's one of the Comic Book versions?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the gimmick is that it's being made.
-
I'm enjoying the reactions immensely.

The pre-done weathering here looks better than on the old Yamato's. Though there's no indication the factory produced 19's will look nearly as good.
-
And perhaps the offset is that it doesn't come with the additional armament tray?
-
I don't want to sound like a dick but I'm enjoying the sticker-shock responses.

It's the only Battle 7 we're getting so far, this is one of those stupid only ten items allowed to be sold deals isn't it?
-
Anybody notice that placard at the bottom for that armor? 2017. Long wait....

Link?

This is at a toy show right? It's fascinating that they're showing off the 31A. I'm wondering if they are planning to make a toy from it in a similar vein to the YF-25.
