Sweet, I'm getting A group to go with my 25A group.
  3. I don't know, I always liked the look of that comic version. I might need to look over my funds and see. I might give it a go. Haven't owned another Sentinel... but that's for another thread I suppose. So no other pics of the new Figuarts Avengers stuff surfaced?
  4. I sincerely doubt there will ever be a bundle. That would be too expensive. Think about how huge the 0's are already, now look at how much more MASSIVE that armor makes the already big 0 look. We're looking at ~$150-$200 for this armor, I guarantee it.

You want to reminesce about not being able to find things. Try being a kid in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 80's. We didn't have s**t. My first real accessible VF-1 was the Masterpiece collection POS in the early 2000's. The only real merchandise I was able to pick up as a kid, and I still have no idea where my father found it, was one of those little die cast matchbox SDF-1's in Storm Attack mode which I still have and cherish to this day.
  6. Dang, looked it up. It's about the same price as the Figuarts Hulkbuster, $310 at HLJ right now. And it's 25cm's, just shy of ten inches tall. It definitely looks like one of the comic book versions. To be honest I'd be into getting this one as well, I just don't have the funds.
  7. 0S crumbled??? Fhat would be the first report we've heard of this unless you're referring to the old Yamato releases.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the gimmick is that it's being made.

    I'm enjoying the reactions immensely.
  10. The pre-done weathering here looks better than on the old Yamato's. Though there's no indication the factory produced 19's will look nearly as good.
  11. And perhaps the offset is that it doesn't come with the additional armament tray?

I don't want to sound like a dick but I'm enjoying the sticker-shock responses.
  13. It's the only Battle 7 we're getting so far, this is one of those stupid only ten items allowed to be sold deals isn't it?
  14. Anybody notice that placard at the bottom for that armor? 2017. Long wait....

This is at a toy show right? It's fascinating that they're showing off the 31A. I'm wondering if they are planning to make a toy from it in a similar vein to the YF-25.

Yup. Kind of a catch 22 on Kawamori's part. I think he was trying to deviate from the 25 era look by putting the nosecone someplace else. But then the pod couldn't be stored anywhere and he capitulated and just did the 25 style nose dive in the chest again. Okay, just imagine an A variant in the CF color scheme similar to the 25A CF. THAT would look awesome. We can only hope it happens. Also, that black one is guaranteed to be a bitch to pre-order.

No, there's not. The attach point for the torso is on the underside of the fuselage the nose cone is attached to. In order to expose the attach point you have to flip the entire section to the back and the nose cone comes with it.
  19. I honestly don't believe that. It's more likely they'll gauge it based on the sales for that little SDFM SDF-1.

There's a reason why, the YF-30's cose cone folds back around and protrudes from the back. On the VF-31 the nosecone folds downward like on the 25 series so there's no protrusion out the back. If it weren't for the nose cone the YF-30 could already do that so it should be safe thinking the 31 can absolutely do that.
