I can't figure out why the hell Arcadia didn't figure out how to implement similar ankles to fix the YF-19's issues. They're so fricking superior, and massively dynamic. Even more dynamic than any of the Bandai ankles have been it's just those stabs at the ends of the of the legs on the VF-4 prevent any further tilting. It is too bad there isn't more shoulder/arm articulation but you look at this thing and it's already a TIGHT fit for everything. If Bandai does their Hi-Metal version it will be interesting to see if they come up with some different clever ways to hide everything. Or maybe you'll just remove the non-arm version and plug the full length arm on. That would be the easy solution to a non-PT version.

Dang, my Regults showed up yesterday and I can't be here to pick them up for days. No idea how I'm going to get these damn things before they're sent back.

I'm not even going to bother buying this, it was bad fan-fiction with really great special effects. I do not consider this movie to be any sort of true successor to the original trilogy.

I'm with Archie here. While scene to scene the sizes vary I think the Bandai version fits into a consistent scale better than the Yamato one. That thing was scaled WAY too big.

I'm late to this discussion but I have two 0S's, one to display as is and the other for the armor. Currently they're sitting next to each other. I have one that I've stickered up (the intended non-armored version) and the other is still like it is from the factory because I'm not going to take the time to put stickers on when they'll be covered. I'm finding for the 0S color scheme that, except for the UN SPACY markings missing from the legs (and possibly the 301 on the tail fins) that it looks remarkably complete as is. I actually think the additional stickers do it a disservice and I'm now considering putting minimal decals on the completely fresh one (UN Spacy and tailfins, maybe 301 on the nosecone too) and leaving that as the unarmored version, then using the highly marked up one for the armor. And now that I think about it, of all of my many (20+) VF-1's I think the only one I haven't put any decals on is the 1S as well. The White/Black/Yellow just works.

They came only as kits and were super expensive. And in a lot of ways scaled WAY too big.

One thing I will say, I may (only MAY) try to nab the Blue One with the SAP simply because Battroid doesn't look horrible in those few aceoftherebellion photos. The fighter and Gerwalk both look like pieces of sh*t though.

The Left Ankle on one of my 0S's was super tight too. Jenius' recommendation of keeping the foot closed while moving it helps to move/loosen it up.

I still have the RDF Destroyer one...

I am so glad I cancelled my pre-order.

It's reason enough to hate it and never want to see a movie made from it. -

I don't understand why people are excited for Old Man Logan. It was another horrible hero-killing side-story by comic-book hating Mark Millar. -
That Ant-Man looks REALLY good. Can't wait. Where's the Black Panther pre-order (which will be MURDER to get.) I'm totally okay with giant robots punching giant lizards. More!

Man, you've done Gerwalk justice there too.

Paid at HLJ, very excited for my third VF-4.

Holy sh*t, that looks damn nice!

The thing about this is that , like the VF-4, 99% of 2Ss fans are fighter mode fans. You have to nail that mode first. I'm the odd one who loves all three. But Yamato nailed the VF-4 fighter mode and the other two work well enough. This thing missed the most popular mode and the other two really don't work.

Wow, I've always wondered what the Ariels scheme would look like in Gerwalk and Battroid. I might get that wish.

I still think the "girls" on the battlefield, minis lead singer lady (who is likely a cyborg) are all remotely controlled suits. There's a scene where a hologram-like image of the red head sitting at her computer terminal hovers behind and above her avatar on the battlefield and it looks exactly like the pose she eas holding when sitting at the computer terminal with the bad-ass pilot standing behind her at an earlier point in the episode prior to the battle starting. Was that sufficiently non-specific as I can't remember any of their names nor do I have timestamps from the video to back up my unsubstantiated claims. -

I think the bigger question is does this brush up too close to Marvel for them to be happy about its use or did Fox and Marvel actually come to an agreement on something? -
Video reviews for Phasma have been excellent. I found a good deal for one on ebay and went for it.
