Did the VF-0 CF officially go on pre-order already?
-
The loose ankles are a first I've ever heard on the VF-4.

Yup, Harold Ramis Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray all played believable quirky guys. And Ernie Hudson was great as the straight man. The three "scientists" are playing "Hollywood Nerds" and the black girl is just playing the token black role.

I finally got my hands on my Regults today. Homerun Bandai, Homerun. Bring on the missile and scout variants. This is completely what I wanted, it's what I wanted when I got the still relatively decent Toynami Battlepods. I expected these to be good, Bandai are masters of poseable mecha, especially when they don't have to worry about transformation mechanisms. This is near perfect, I could gripe about a few small things (I want the cannons to be able to point all the way forward, and the smaller impact guns to be movable), but it's not worth it. Buy them when you see them. And bring on the destroids. They're going to be just as great, I know it. As a matter of fact, although they're different divisions, maybe somebody between groups is talking because this thing feels remarkably similar to the Hulkbuster they just released. Ratches, metal, etc in all the right places. I'm thinking the Monster is going to be a showpiece. Place your bets now people.

I think ROTJ Luke is still available at several online shops.

So if I don't find those three women you mentioned funny I'm a mysogynist? Get out of here. Based on their performances they feel canned, like three women teying to be "Hollywood" nerds, not real, and natural. And of course tjere's the zany black girl. Winston was genuinely funny and down to earth and real, not all "waz up!!!" Like this character here. I like the way the effects look, I don't like the way these women behave. I work with some REALLY nerdy and REALLY brilliant women and these four feel like forced caricatures. The original four felt loke four guys I know and have worked with. These four women aren't real at all.

I don't even care about this box set. Get on with characters we son't have. There isn't enough different here to entice previous Cap/IM owners.

Dismissive because there's no way of hand waving what I'm complaining about like you can pretending that stiry will be revealed later. These ate problems inherent to the film, period. Rian Johnson may fill in the gaps for a good many things people are already crying about but he'll also expose how poorly crafted TFA was by JJ.

Like I said, this film suffers from all of the same problems as the previous Treks. It's not a Lindeloff problem, it's a JJ problem. And it goes far deeper than the Hosnian Prime explosion, which I never mentioned. The writing in many spots is almost as bad as the Prequels, the opening crawl reads like a bad thirteen-year-old fan-fiction. JJ can't keep internal consistency with his own universe, he keeps the pacing fast so you don't notice there's no true connection or chemistry between the characters. Into Darkness and The Force Awakens both feel like watching a series of video game cutscenes of a game based on a film, you get a sense of the story and characters but without the actual meat of a real story.

You always blame his writers for the problems with his films and yet every problem this movie has the previous two Trek movies also have. Face it, JJ is the common factor and they've all suffered because of him.

Co-wrote means that JJ still worked on the script and the movie shares many of the same problems both of the Star Trek movies have suffered. JJ is good at getting emotions from actors, but he's bad at consistent world building or stories that are anything more than paper-thin point A to point B moments.

Do it, the Battroid mode is fun to pose.

Shiiiiiiii, gotta get them Regults redelivered.

What if somebody mailed you a third one and a bunch of money?

I'd love Figuarts X-Men figures but they only do Movie Properties, not comic properties. Plus it sounds like it's difficult to get X-Men figures made by almost anyone. Mezco's One:12 line, for instance, they were told specifically to stay away from all X-Men figures. And it's few and far between we see any Hasbro X-men figures anymore. The only other X-Men related things we see are the Hot Toy's Wolverine figures and all but the upcoming brown suit are from the films as well.

I think this looks great. I think you should do the new one up like the Max 1J custom from the models thread instead.

He just stacked several of them. The black boxes. Then applied the skulls to that, plus the modex, etc.
-
Dang, the knee joints on this third one are really loose on mine. The screws are exposed so maybe I can tighten them but Gerwalk is pretty much always nose right into the ground right now.

Took me two months to stumble across this but that's a damn nice setup there!

Oh God no, I do not trust that nursing home at all. I'm trying like mad to get my Mom transferred someplace else.

Macross II can easily be explained away as in universe alternate reality fiction. A movie somebody made that follows the premise "What if the space colonization project never happened." Boom, cannon.

Luckily they don't require someone be present for re-delivery so they can leave it at the door. The only person I used to live with is now in a nursing home and can't sign for me anymore. She's the reason why I'll never be home to sign for the package now. Too bad the PO doesn't offer the same service Fed Ex does, they'll re-route and hold shipments at different locations. There's one down the road from the nursing home that's open 23 1/2 hours a day and that's been a life saver.
