Deadpool, on DVD/Blu-Ray May 10, 2016
Mommar replied to miles316's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I don't know, if Revo and Figma are both knocking out comic versions of tjese characters it might be worth it to buy both jist to show comic book characters sell. -
I saw that yesterday. He'd be bad-ass.

There are some Figma Avengers stuff, at least, as well. Whenever the hell that Hulk will actually be released, if at all. Yes, they could make the comic characters. Provided Disney/Marvel are cool with it. Bandai might not think it's profitable either. Hasbro can, and is, doing it right now with only a tangential relation to the movies i.e. the word X-Men. But there could be restrictions on Bandai, there's apparently restrictions on Mezco and their One:12 line. -

Hmm, Figma is WAY better than Revoltech... Are there any proper pics of the figure yet? So when does the Figuarts version show up now? Also we just had a new X-men movie, where the hell are our Revo/Figma/Figuarts X-men figures? -
I like all three modes, personally.

I think you're right but I can understand why zaino feels the way he does. I too want to see the Jenius girl rise up and kick ass on her own like Grandma and Grandpa could. Though, something to consider, if you remember from SDFM and DYRL by the end of the series Max and Millia did fight together in a team-up style during the final Battle in both their 1J's and the Queadluun-Rau's. So the team-up aspect doesn't necessarily take away from their individual talents. We don't really know what will happen, Hayate already has vowed to make up for Messer missing so it seems like either he's going to be training super hard and/or they'll just make it a willpower thing. Mirage may feel like she has to do the same to keep him safe, or whatever. -

Despite not being fond of the other Revoltech figure I have I think I'll check out this Deadpool, possibly the Spider-Man and Venom they're hinting at as well. -
Man, everytime I see an update to this thread I come in hoping you'll have posted a first issue.

Are Figma making one as well?I still can't believe these companies haven't figured out to make an X-Men line of their figures. That's the first Hasbro line in four years I've seen sell out before (and we're talking whole cases selling out.) -

Hmm, interesting. The only experience I have with them is the Revo Ultron because I liked the sculpt the most and it actually isn't a very good figure at all. -
Oh yeah, they're both too long and too skinny. And like I had mentioned befor the attachment arm doesn't collapse towards the shoulder enough.

They were never attached to the sides of the SDF-1.

I wasn't specific but what I'm complaining about is entirely about the Cruiser mode. But the stubby legs and longer ships also affect Storm Attacker mode as well too.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016

No, as a matter of fact you haven't got it. You've completely missed the point in favor of nit-picking an insignificant choice of words. "I think there's a lot of fear about this one because of the very stark split between opinions of TFA. Pretty much everyone went into that expecting perfection and some of us came out as, if not moreso, disappointed as with the prequels. I'm not going to believe some nonsense from Reddit but a lot of people who have massive doubts about Star Wars now probably will." Do you see the fix? Does it help you understand why some people are losing their minds over a mundane reshoot schedule? Have it fixed it so you can focus on the subject or are you going to feel the need to further nitpick some other minor detail? -

Your opinion is not a fact either. And you're still missing the point. -

Missing the forest for the trees. The point is a bunch of people don't have faith in the Disney versions anymore (some were worried from the beginning too.) -
Pretty cool to see a Polynesian-themed Disney story now.

While I like the fact I finally have an SDFM version of the SDF-1 that semi-transforms I think I've figured out what it is about the look of it that has always bothered me. From the side profile the steepness of the legs from the knee to the feet is too severe on the back of the leg and the legs are too short by a few hairs. Also, the ships are too damn long by quite a lot, part of that is because the joints from the shoulders don't collapse like on the actual lineart but the Daedalus itself is still too long and a bit too skinny. The Prometheus is also ever so slightly oversized, too long and too tall for the side profile. The booms at the front are also just slightly longer than they need to be.

I think there's a lot of fear about this one because of the very stark split between opinions of TFA. Pretty much everyone went into that expecting perfection and about half of us came out as, if not moreso, disappointed as with the prequels. I'm not going to believe some nonsense from Reddit but a lot of people who have massive doubts about Star Wars now probably will. -
I didn't even know there was an MW scheme but I frigging love it. I need all of my Valks in blue!
