Bandai can get pretty sloppy in the details, we've always known this. They took the easy/horrible looking road with their landing gears. Granted, Kawamori made their jobs hard with this design. Comparing the screen shot to the Takara Tomi model, that's pretty accurate to how it's supposed to look.

Star Trek Beyond (the not The Search for Spock)
Mommar replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That A redesign is the concept art and not what was finally put to screen. There are lots of details that have changed. For instance the angle of the neck between the secondary hull and the saucer section was increased to look closer to the Prime universe A. The pylons still attach right to the front of the nacelles, however.- 466 replies

Macross Δ (Delta) - Mission 21 - READ 1st POST
Mommar replied to azrael's topic in Movies and TV Series
That was actually my complaints with Frontier as well. The last time they got it right was Zero, since then it's either been sped up so fast you can't see anything... or Delta. Actually, that video Seti posted really highlights what they COULD have done right with Delta but didn't. It's really an issue of framing. They could easily have had the camera moving with the fighters as they scissored around each other and it would have been pretty adrenaline fueled. Instead we got zig-zagging dots in the distance and the few times they're in close there's no sense of proximity. The second half not having as much Mech action doesn't bother me, but the first few episodes promised us an extremely gifted Battroid user, Hayates initial introduction was pulling off impossible moves in that workroid AND then taking a 171 and breakdance dodging bullet fire with it, and they squandered every last bit of that. -

I'm not as offended as others with Delta but they do sorely need some dogfights like that Max and Milia one. it seemed like there was so much potential for that back when Hayate was breakdancing over Mirage during training but they dropped all of that. -

I can easily see, "To the Crosswalk!" becoming a recurring joke with my Niece and Nephew.- 22 replies

Yeah, three pics of Gerwalk and three of Battroid. You neglected to mention that the forward swept and delta winged versions get more than just a simple side and top-down diagram pic too, there's actually some composite images with full paint schemes of them in action. The foreard swept VF-4 looks to trying to show some lineage to the VF-9 to me. Also, a single VF-31(A) shot at the very back... We know what the next book will be.

Yeah, they sure as hell did.

I'm surprised there are any in Gerwalk. Disappointing they don't have many in Battroid though.

The green one definitely looks the closest to correct in fighter so far but I can't imagine they've engineered anything great to make that work.

It's because that blue is bery close to a lot of real-world planes, even id it is too shiny. People would easily mistake it for the Blue Angels right away.

Speaking of which. A bit ridiculous he's releasing almost two years after the movie released. So between Age of Ultron and Civil War who are we missing in Figuarts form? Falcon, Bucky, Spidey and Vision? Oh, Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver I suppose (if anyone cares about Quicksilver.)

The F and P are easily the two best of the VF-19 series ever released.

Other than there were no attachment points planned to accommodate that stuff, and that it would be a bit bulkier, it would be pretty simple to execute and incorporate transformations with it too.

It's not all at one time though.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016
Mommar replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hmm, did she say "May The Force Be With Us" different from that other trailer? It sounded less... cheeky, and a lot more ominous. Also, can't get enough of that scene with the X-Wings barreling down that darkened canyon with the lights on. -
The durability is pretty good. You can play with them. As with all Bandai lroducts you have to watch for loosening joints but there are ways to fix that mostly. They're fun little Battroid figures.
