Obi-Wan, Raph and IM MK3 showed up today. Raph and Obi-Wan are a bit disappointing really. Raph's sai look great but his hands aren't really designed to hold them any other way than by the handle. You can wedge the blade and hand guards through the fingers but it's worrisome that the plastic on the sai might be forced. Also, it's becoming glaringly obvious the hip articulation on the Turtles is designed poorly. They all look like they're standing the same. I'm wondering if I have a defective Obi-Wan. His neck keeps being forced forward and it's hard to even have him look straight. His right arm pops off at the shoulder, and barely moves at all on either side so any sort of cross body swinging motions don't really work. Is anybody else' thigh swivel almost impossible to use as well? It won't budge at all. To top it off the hole for the lightsaber holding hand is at such a severe angle it's almost impossible to put the hand on. I really don't know why they made the hole they way they did, you can already use the ball joint at the wrist to get good angled motion. My Black Series Jedi Luke can hold a lightsaber two handed better than this Obi-Wan figure can. Iron Man Mk3 is my favorite suit design and this toy is KILLER! Posing it is awesome. The colors look great. The red is a nice deep metallic color. It just looks fricking fantastic. I'm so happy Bandai finally made this one. There's one glaring omission, the large bumps on the forearms where he stores missiles. It almost looks like you could pop those off but there are no little missile attachments in the box. It's an iconic scene from the first movie, why leave that out when it's an obvious feature of the suit? Anyway, buy the Mk 3. -
Interesting experiment. The second one looks more balanced color-wise to me.

Broly was about nine inches. I don't know what a "normal" body character would be. They're all about the same size unless they have some sort of goofy headdress that makes them taller like Cell, maybe. Raphael, Iron Man Mk 3 and Obi-wan are all sitting on the porch waiting for me to get home.

Holy crap I have five different packages en-route right now. All SHF something or other. Black Panther, Obi-Wan, Iron Man Mk3, Raphael and a Godzilla that was on sale... everybody needs a Godzilla, right?

How can you order different parts in different material types or did you buy two of each head in the different materials?

Chewie preorder is on Dec 1. Looks like Anakin is weird, initial orders get a second angry face and the additional green saber. Later orders only get the one head and saber. Odd for a web exclusive to have that. Raph is due to arrive Tuesday. Initial Rogue One stuff should be out sometime soon too unless all of the Bandai solicits I've seen are wrong again.

The more I play with this figure the more I love it! It fits in damn well with Marvel Legends/Figma stuff. I can't wait for Daredevil and The Punisher now. Plus Spider-Man and Deadpool later. These should be getting more attention.

That is a wicked deal! Speaking of Turttles, Raph is FINALLY available. I guess mine will be shipping next week thanks to releasing up against the Holiday. No biggie.

Well I wish I had an extra $700 in my back pocket so I could use a few of these heads. Looking at the shapeways page I didn't realize you offer multiple faceplates for each head too. Pretty cool to have those options.

Yeah, I feel like a dope for forgetting I already pre-ordered him. But I was looking to see when pre-orders for Chewie and Episode II Anakin would start wince they're due out in February and May. Looks like Anakin is a web exclusive.

Nah, this song isn't nearly as catchy. The chorus isn't as simple as Let it Go which is important for little kids to follow. They're not dropping it.

Well, it took them forever but my Modern Captain America figure finally arrived today. Definitely a fun figure. The ankle rocker kind of sucks so poses are a bit goofy but luckily they decided to give you a pile of stuff, stands with arms, lots of accessories and swappable hands and a little bag. It's like they looked at what Figma does and copied them. I can't wait for Daredevil and The Punisher and I'm even considering the modern Red Skull to match with my Cap now. Still waiting on the Spider-Man and Deadpool pre-orders. Looks like I'm all in.

FINALLY I've got confirmation Raphael will be shipping in the next ten days. Seems like the TMNT production/releases were pushed back. Michelangelo was supposed to be this month and Raph last month. I wonder if Mikey will slip to end of December now.

I don't want to be "that guy" but aren't there differences between the chin/visor shapes? Well, differences if you're basing these different heads off of the VF-4 Master File books.
