  1. So we've established you want to dislike the movie and will find any slight reason to disregard it. Good job.
  2. You haven't fit it on correct, that sucker is rock solid on mine. Make sure the little clips are locked into the intakes on the chest.
  3. I guess we'll see if this issue affects other packages? My SHF War Machine MKIII is in preparation now. We'll see if it takes weeks to get here I guess.
  4. Well, supposedly War Machine is preparation in progress. I guess we'll see if NY keeps me waiting for weeks on end or if that was some odd fluke with Arcadia stuff.
  5. If he can act like a captain then it's good casting.
  6. I think most places are sold out. Gamestop just put up more pre-orders yesterday or the day before but they're sold out again. A lot of the controllers, etc... are as well.
  7. I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't really care whether this movie is good or not, I got my fill of Alien films back with the first two, but everybody in their trailer looked and sounded natural and real. I thought the scene felt great, if a tad bit reminiscent of past things.
  8. Classic Comic Version? I'm unaware of Mezco planning on something like that. Gimmicks are just gimmicks. The cocking mechanism on the pistol is cool but unless you're taking a photo with a macro lens it isn't going to matter much. Nor is being able to load up the grenade launcher with shells. But the figure looks good, poses good and you have a lot of options to pose it with.
  9. And my entire premise was that it's a missing/astronomical license issue.
  10. If Bandai did another YF-30 I'd honestly want a renewal version that integrated the chnages made in the 31 to fix some of the dumb locking mistakes they made on the first release. Of course I think they'd still need to include the brace for Gerwalk mode as I cna't see another way to lock the mechanism with the rotating hips any other way.
  11. And you've answered my question why the VF-4 could be done. They don't need to make a new mold, repaint the old one and claim it doesn't transform. Unless the license is really that hard to actually obtain.
  12. For me personally NY's shipping went up if only because they dropped FedEx and switched to UPS, which is MASSIVELY overpriced. But I won't ship via EMS due to my horrible local post office "service."
  13. That seems an odd thing given they made the VF-X and just added that little bit on the bottom to make it look like it couldn't transform. More than likely it's because they don't know who owns the license.
  14. Hawkeye finally arrivd today. Interesting figure. He has ratchets in his hip joints, presumably so his rubberized jacket doesn't push his legs out of place when posd. It works. Kinda too bad he can only hold his bow in the fixed right hands. No loose arrows either. Mind the crap in the background, I'm visiting my Mom right now. His ankle rocker blows.
  15. Dunno, there really aren't that many more releases they can do. Under Yamato they released prectically every VF-1 under the sun and kinda figured out which sell the best, the Destroids weren't touched and enemy mecha didn't sell (though they botched that one imo.) So what else would they really release besides the most popular Roy and Hikaru VF's? Both YF and VF-19's are already covered, the other 19 variants didn't sell as well and the 21/22 didn't sell as well either. The 11B and C both didn't sell well. The two 17 variants didn't sell well. The VF-4 is popular so they put that out again too. The Zero series and the YF-19 were the two oldest things that they can reasonably update and people would be likely to buy to replace the old, terrible ones. But nothing else really needs to be updated/fixed (except to fix the 19 and 17's ball-joint ankles.) What's left? They can't do Frontier or Delta, most likely. And following so close to Bandai on Frontier would be silly. There's the more obscure fighters that we fans want but if some of the more mainline fighters from the shows didn't sell who's to say the VF-5000B is going to light the world on fire?
  16. But based on cursory glances the od and new VF-0 "look the same" but when you put them next to each other they're clearly different in many ways.

    Bandai DX VF-31

The guys in the VF-0 Reactive Armor thread can tell you about their shipping woes with NY recently.
  18. Couldn't find another place to put this but semi-relevant. Revoltech Wolverine prototype spotted at Wonder Fest. Extremely MvC style too.
  19. I suppose it could but I haven't tried to remove the armor to see. I can safely warn anyone trying to open the shoulder missile packs that the little black bits can be easily ripped off though. They're easy to glue back on though. Does anybody have a marking guide from a Hase kit or something? The book doesn't offer much other than the triangles, 01 on the chest and the Kites and Spacy logos on the sides. Ans you can bately see what they stamped on the Reactive Armor in the Master File books.
  20. Marvel just streamed a tour of the Hasbro booth at NYC Toy Fair and Dwight Stall confirmed the Iron Man in the two pack is in fact what his new armor looks like in Homecoming. I guess they really are trying to channel Ultimate Iron Man in that one. He also showed off the build-a-wing thing for The Vulture and it's hella articulated. And something crazy like 18 inches wide.
  21. I am a tad surprisd. Last year when Leonwas first announced the ToyPizza guys brought up makig Casey Jones and one of the people they interviewed was really into that idea. I Suppose if they dirn't sell well, and I have some big problems with the Turtles myself, maybe Shredder isnthe last they felt like making.
  22. HELL. YES.
