So what I'm reading about the folding wings/clear piece is that Bandai has a crap design here. They can never get it right the first time... Is it too much to hope they've held off on the other 262 releases now that somebody at the company slapped a pair of lilldrakens on the big one and realized how stupid a design they've spat out?

Wouldn't they have to license that particular look though? It's a Master File creation. That being said, if I could write in Japanese I'd tweet it to Arcadia.

Yeah, I was just watching SDFM to get some screen shots for a friend of mine the other day and it struck me how much the music angle was retconned to be THE thing that controls everything.

From watching two videos it's more and more clear that Bandai totally f**ked up Gerwalk, and that nobody actually seems to know what Gerwalk is supposed to look like (likely thanks to Bandai messing it up.)

Watching that video, the little plastic piece they attach in fighter mode doesn't even really make sense. What does it do exactly?

Comparing the Frontier Valks is tricky because of the second round of V2's released. Though it does seem like the four primary valks were released before the movies were since there was also the film version of the 25F released. It was around the second movie that the V2 releases, starting with the 29, came out. Kinda/sorta the 27 before that too.

On Arcadia's blog they mentioned the non-blue pictures were taken under low-light conditions and the blue-tinted pictures were under black-light.

That first image wasn't taken under blacklight, just really low-light conditions. So it should look fine with regular light.

To the guys worried about paint rub on the Premium Finish version there's been an update on the ameblo blog and it appears there's a matte clear coat being used on it. So that should add a level of additional protection.

I think I'll get two of these. I always wished I had bought two of the Yammies as I love how they look in Fighter and Gerwalk.

It's kind of interesting but I hate the art style and slow, jankiness of the animation.
