I don't know, he's pretty enthusiastic about Trek in general. And has said many times he was willing to come back and direct more Trek TV and movies if asked.

I know, Padme is due today and Batman/Strange are due tomorrow for me. D is a higher up in the Articulated Comic Book Art community and I think he has connections with these toy companies. The guy in the Padme video apparently pays through the nose to get his figures over-night shipped when released so he has them first for review. I'm oddly okay with Strange's plastic cape this go around, considering the Bale Batman cape wires are too stiff according to D's review. -

I'm not sure it's really connected to the movie other than for convenience, and it's awfully early for that. When it comes to the X-Men it's difficult because so many fans like so many different iterations of the characters. A lot of people like the Jim Lee Cyke we already got but others were bummed they couldn't get the Claremont version. Plus stores only want toys that have a connection to a film. This was a way for them to put out the Claremont version of Cyke (and the much requested Dark Phoenix) and claim it's related to a movie project.

I've been trying to study the 2SS photo and Instill think we're going to end up with underside kibble. The hip joint is still visible on the bottom and unlike the prototype which had the white joints this new one has black which will show up more on yhe undercarriage now.

Other than flashier coats of paint the newer films really haven't been directed or written any better than the Lucas directed films. Still the same clumsy dialog mistakes odd performances from their actors and/or missed opportunities to make something more interesting (mostly I'm commenting on TFA because it's an Attack of the Clones Prequel mess that people refuse to acknowledge.) -

Han is hand down my favorite Star Wars character and I never ever wanted this film. I think they're still trying to tug at every strand of nostalgia that they can without any consideration how the ball of yarn is coming apart. -
