If they were smart they would make a limited number for the con for the uber fans to run and get immediately and then wait six months to release them online. That way there's a draw for the con, and a limited time bonus for the people who go, but the rest of the fans aren't boned and there's no overly complicated nonsense like right now.

Poor story-telling aside, it is the final Valk of the main character that is also a blend with the other most popular character from the show where he goes super var and kicks as much ass as the incompetant writers will let him. Heroes sell well in Japan and abroad.l and Hayate and Messer were the favorites by a wide margin. You want to limit Chuck, makes perfect sense, even though I'll buy him still. But the hero? Might as well make the Super Saiyan Goku figures super rare lottery only, who wants to buy the main character in his ultimate form anyway?

Why are people so resistant to a retelling like this isn't something Macross hasn't done before? DYRL, Plus, Frontier all did this. Delta has a chance to be better and nobody wants that? -

I don't even care to look at the Kai. I can't buy one. Displaying it means nothing to me. It's too bad the Kairos is a web exclusive. I feel like once the three I've ordered arrive I'll probably want at least a fourth. It'll be harder to get after the fact.

I had no clue this was up for pre-order. Got lucky and grabbed three at CDJapan because I stumbled across it. Damn, almost $800 for the three of them too. And only a month after the super expensive Premium SDF-1. I actually wanted four but I can't justify a full G.

While I would gladly recommend Wolverine and Spider-Gwen I'm not willing to go as far as to say they're the best comic versions. They're pretty hyper deformed and not that accurate in many instances, even if they are cool and fun to pose. -
