It's unheard of I managed to find a new release the day after in New Mexico. I did have to try four Walgreens before I found one though. -

Did anybody manage to get in on a Gomez figure? I saw several reviews and it's actually pretty cool. Plus you can swap the head for a black skull and except for the weird ant neck it makes a perfect Black Mask for the Batman self.

Oh? So even though it says sold out they've never actually become available yet? Isn't Mystique supposed to be out in the wild now? We had a freak blizzard here in ABQ today so I couldn't run by a few Walgreens to see if she's shown up yet.

Oh yeah, I know the BBTS version comes with the wall. I don't see a mention on the Japanese websites about it though. The down side to getting it from BBTS is that it will be a month later than the import shops. Though more and more it's just cheaper from BBTS. Even if the figure is $20 or $30 more the shipping is practically nothing. And I don't do SAL. I never had any of the SOTAs so this is all new to me. I'm a little jealous of the Storm Collectibles versions simply because Storm is pumping those things out fast, multiple versions of the costumes and everything. Bandai is REALLY dragging their feet with these releases. And I only want the primaries really, Zangief etc. I'm not a big fan of the later addition characters. I wasn't super into the Ryu release when I first got it but I LOVED Chun-Li. And except for the goofiness with Cammy I have enjoyed posing the other figures. Oddly I LOVE posing Ken. My other issue is they released too many of the Shota(sp?) characters. Ryu, Ken, Sakura, Akuma. And these bodies are based on the Kinnikuman engineering so more guys with wrestling-style moves like T Hawk and Zangief would be a ton of fun to play with. Vega here will probably be one I constantly manipulate at the office desk based on these photos. I'm looking forward to Blanka next month. That will be the test for larger bodies in this line.

The onenthing I can’t tell is ifnthe Japanese release comes with the wall. I’ve only seen a picture of it losted at BBtS. The Japanese ones haven’t shown it yet.

I’ve quit most of it with them too. They switched to UPS from FedEx several years ago and ratcheted the shipping up more than double.

The first of almost everything I buy gets used the most (not the 262, I hate transforming that thing.). For instance my old Yamato VF-1A Hikaru. Since I only had that one for a very long while it got transformed a lot. Once I had at least three VF-1’s (I’m somewhere in the 20’s now) it wasn’t necessary to transform it unless I wanted a specific look with a specific livery. In that instance it settled on fighter squad formation with Max and Kakizaki. After that it becomes a game of reposing the one that assumed whichever form I’ve given it.

There is a second film coming out next year. Bandai could have easily twisted the screws and ordered alternate colored versions of the armor appear just to get more reuse from the mold.

It's not so bad. Arad's 31 looks pretty great.

Five 31's appear in the film wearing the armor. Arad and Chuck plus three miscellaneous 31A wingmen. They feature pretty prominently in the final battle. I haven't calculated the screen time but they appear a decent amount.

Very tiny Obi-Wan and very large Gundam thing. Infinity War Thor got held up in Alaska and will be here tomorrow.

I finally took the plunge on a few kits and I was wondering if there were any tools or tool kits you guys recommend to prep/clean up the parts
