Iceman is using one of the newer bodies, yes. They’re only “Vintage” in the sense they resemble the original Toybiz releases in deco and packaging. The figures themselves are modern. Though I wouldn’t recommend that Storm if you want anything resembling Jim Lee.

I just realized depending on what iteration of the original X-Factor team you’re thinking of the release of both Cyke and Iceman in the classics line means only Marvel Girl is missing from that lineup. The iteration of the team just after The Fall of the Mutants and through Inferno had beast finally turning blue, angel was now Archangel, Cyke in the Blue and White but still with the full cowl over the head and Iceman looking like he always does except he had some ludicrously oversized belt at that time.

Her costume is silver but shiny black makes more sense in context given her 70’s/80’s look was always black. This was for the Animated series people to shut up, I hope. Though we’re not going to stop hearing about Morph now. I’m cool with an AOA Wolverine if they bother giving us the rest of the cast. They always leave out something for Iceman. It’s nice to see a bit of an ice slide though. He should have been a riders series or like Archangel though.

I’m so sick of these a-holes getting Storms color wrong. Here’s Storm standing right next to the White Queen (who we know wears white) in the SECOND comic to feature that new costume. NOT. WHITE.

Figuarts have been really cheap lately. Now that the MCU is dispersed to new brands I’m dropping the line. They’ve been half-assing it for two years now anyway.

I skipped. The suits weren’t significant enough for me to care. It’s not like they fought Thanos with that same look. Plus it would be figuarts Hulk with a bunch of Marvel Legends because SHF hasn’t bothered with any of the other characters and I already didn’t bother with the ML versions.

There’s no wire in nightcrawlers tail. Dwight covered that topic at a previous convention when Nightcrawler was revealed. Hasbro is still a children's toy company and requires all toys to adhere to specific safety standards. The tail is too thin and it was deemed dangerous so they made the Marvel Legends team remake it without the wire.

Is it just me or do the claws on X-Force Wolvie look a little exaggerated? Like the ends are wider than the base? Nightcrawler looks fantastic! He is proportioned so much better than the previous version was.

Likely no. They seem to have stopped selling all TWE items at CDJapan now.

I don’t think most of them were doubled though. The 0 wasn’t, the 19 wasn’t, the 4 wasn’t, the VE-1 wasn’t. Max and Millia weren’t (premium finish were.)

Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with the Neca figures. They look pretty cool, and a lot of their figures are pretty great. I only have three Monsterarts figures but I like them a lot. Enough I’m putting out for the new King Ghidorah.
