  1. Hopefully they release the PF version of the D. That makes the ideal Gerwalk for the Zero line.
  2. That is the Arcadia one.
  3. I can't tell how articulated those figures are.
  4. Had anybody tried this with their new Arcadia stands yet?
  5. I was just dusting my collection and snapped a pic of one of my 11C’s. Such a great looking Valk and could really use a retool with modern joints/engineering. Too bad the likelihood is zero, especially with the latest news of Tatsunoko and HG. Western fans seem more likely to buy the 11 than Japanese fans.
  6. So the reason why I was asking for clarification is because somebody earlier made the argument they sold back to HG to make money. I'm trying to figure out if they did not sell back to HG and instead Bandai and Arcadia were able to be licensees it would still seem Tatsunoko would make WAY more money. The designs from SDFM are far more popular outside of Japan, and Arcadia especially knows of this difference (SDF-1 and real world liveries are more likely a thing.) They could suddenly cater to worldwide fans with far superior products. Bandai and Arcadia could literally flood the world market with immediate goods (1/100, 1/60 and 1/48) and at a more consistent rate than the one or two POS toys every other year and a solitary garbage comic book. Not to mention Jenius' idea of releasing Macross the First, which would also fall under the same licensing for the Manga. It seems that Tatsunoko doens't like to make money and they're either clueless or inept about the properties prospects. They would even get revenue off of World releases of Delta and Frontier because of the use of the VF-1 and SDF-1 in those properties and it's good exposure/advertising to any new fans might mean securing funding for a Macross The First Anime, and thus, a semi-spinoff of SDFM would make them more money and could extend the franchise. Maybe even make something like an animated release of The Ride with accompanying toys a better liklihood. Tatsunoko and Bandai could both benefit off of the joint appearance of the Valks they own from that. This is all versus HG who can't do anything, nothing new can be produced with the VF-1 so there's zero chance of new interest in the design or much of anyplace the license could creep out towards. This is if I understand how all of this works between the various companies.
  7. To be clear, precisely how does Tatsunoko gain money from Macross exactly? They own international rights for SDFM/DYRL but not in Japan proper?
  8. They’ve made the best Spider-Man figure ever. And I’m tempted to swap out my Figuarts Infinity War Thor for the Mafex one.
  9. It's funny, right? Mafex quality used to be a joke. Now they're the go-to for almost everything (Iron Spider's brittle legs not withstanding.)
  10. Is that good or bad?
  11. Bonus shot of Molten Man backlit. Pretty cool looking for a big gold turd.
  12. Just got in the Molten Man BAF wave and Mezco One:12 Vigilante Daredevil. I just realized out of a seven figure wave four of them are villains and then the BAF is as well. 5 and 3, that’s unusual.
  13. The lesson is Tatsunoko always makes the wrong decision. And comes off like HG’s battered wife.

    Bandai DX VF-31

That would suck given how difficult it is to purchase web exclusives anymore.
