    NY WAY overcharges on their shipping. Especially UPS. I tolerate it because USPS sucks around my house. If you don't have that problem I do not recommend UPS. NY charges at least double what it should actually cost. And they'll drag their asses actually shipping the item.

    The key word being "redesigned" in my statement. None were outright designed to fight the Borg originally except the Defiant, and those systems were integrated into the Sovereign still under development. So technically two built from relatively the ground up to handle Borg threats. But the rest were all upgraded to fill that role when other ships, like the Intrepid, filled roles originally intended for classes like the Steamrunner, etc. The Saber was originally for a sort of police force for the Federation and many were upgraded with systems developed for the Defiant to fight the Borg after Wolf 357.

    On the plus side the Dollar is stronger against the Yen than when I pre-ordered. The price dropped $7 since I first calculated it.

    Yeah, the website still says December 31. NY used to send out the payment requests two weeks in advance. I'm surprised they want the money a full month early. That's a huge hurt for Christmas. I sent them a message asking why they want payment so far in advance this time.

    Oh-ish. NY is asking for payment for the VF-0D by December 2nd. I guess no two weeks prior like it's always been?

    No, that was a ruse. The explosion from the Cube almost masked their escape except for the Ent-E.

    Don't forget, at the battle of Sector 001 every single one of those ships was redesigned to specifically be Borg killers and it still took the arrival of the Enterprise E, and Picards magical knowledge where to specifically shoot, that actually stopped the Cube (and even still that was a Borg ruse.) They WOULD have lost otherwise, even with the upgraded weapons on all ships.

    Unless Rey has her lightsaber shoved up Threepio's ass that doesn't count because R2 was in possession of it then.

    ESB is the second movie. He never used a blaster in ROTJ and they've already made Rey the Uber-Master Force user who can beat everybody else before this. How come in her third movie she has to go back?

    It kind of looks like the shoulders might be better than the last PS4 Spider-Man.

    Maybe it's an age thing? I often get confused about people who complain about being bored with things that are "slow" too. That can happen to me too but that's usually because whet ever is being said on screen isn't compelling enough for me to care, or too many obvious things are being iterated that don't need to be.

    This does make me wonder if an SHF might happen.

    As a matter of fact it would have made immensely more sense for the Vengeance to look like a Klingon ship. They wanted an excuse to blow the hell out of the Klingons anyway. Having a Klingon-like ship that wrecks Starfleets flagship would be a perfect way to justify a war with them.

    Some of them are exceptional, even. The Hasbro Mandelorian looks quite good to be honest. Here's video of the new Star Wars stuff from Tokyo Comicon. Plus an Admiral Akbar Movie Realization figure that looks effing weird but I also kind of dig it (and it's only the second hero figure we've ever gotten from that series.)
