They have a pretty sweet deal on the VF-4G at Amazon.jp right now. 9364 Yen. Cost me $84 with shipping. Bought one as a gift for a buddy of mine who only wants his Valks in Jolly Rogers Schemes. https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07YNQ1955/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Eaglemoss Star Trek Starship, BSG & other starships Collection
Mommar replied to Sandman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So the Concept Reliant just showed up and it looks REALLY good. Except for the seam line on the sides where the pylons attach and at the back along the base of the impulse engines it looks great. Design wise the Nacelles are probably too high and a bit too thick but overall it’s a shame this design wasn’t worked into the official Trek lore. I think with light massaging it would look incredible. I was not aware of the double dual torpedo tubes on the bottom. Eaglemoss needs better promo photographers. If I could nitpick one thing it's the oddly cheaply painted Shuttle Bays and Impulse engines on the back. The rest of it looks spectacular though. I do recommend this one.- 924 replies

It's a bummer but I did need a replacement J if you notice the bend pylon and nacelle hanging on by a thread. I should be able to review the Concept Reliant tomorrow unless they try to return that one to sender as well.- 924 replies

So I managed to catch USPS before they attempted to send the model back and got it today. First impression, not worth it. Outside of a better looking boussard collector on the front of the nacelles, more sturdy pylons, and the fact the saucer/bridge section is three pieces it's literally just a blown up version of the regular size J. Unless you just want it larger I would not recommend. Also my engine section isn't even glued together correct. Eaglemoss!- 924 replies

If you're going to pose in Gerwalk you really do need that piece. It does not hold together if you elect to use the waist swivel gimmick.

Also their shipping is extortion.

Mommar replied to Sandman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Well I was all prepared to give my impressions of the Enterprise J for everyone but instead the carrier has apparently labelled the package as undeliverable and, according to Informed Delivery, didn't bother delivering any of my normal mail either. That's my USPS!- 924 replies

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!
Mommar replied to Valkyrie Driver's topic in Movies and TV Series
That might make sense. It was the first time they were trying to make a fighter function for long duration in space. -
The mistake was having them over there at all.

The part that broke on yours I never leave connected. You get more pose-ability options if you disconnect that piece.

That livery's best look is fighter IMO.

Armored DD is cool. That Spider-Man set is turning out be one of the more exciting ones this year. The Storm two pack is interesting and now a double pain in the ass. Impossible to find Target Exclusive plus if you want more than one Storm you're now stuck with two of the other guy. Which I assume is a slightly redecoed Warpath. Nice to finally cap off the Giant SIzed Team though. Now get us Banshee. I'm happy to get Pyro but the Rogue one doesn't make much sense to me. Or will it be some weird, modern Pyro?

Got King Of Wakanda Black Panther too. Looks great, poseability sucks. Forgot I’d even pre-ordered it. -

While stuff from AOTC and ROTS tended to be over-choreographed they were just plain stupid. And they were at least shot well. Obi-Wan never put his lightsaber behind his back, bent over and waited for Anakin to strike precisely at his lightsaber in a manner as dumb as the Kylo Ren move there.
