Indeed. Hence why I usually make it a point to buy one of those albums when I have her sign Macross stuff. I still wish I'd seen that glare my friend says she gave us when we showed up at Fanime in costume. Though I did note her staring during DYRL.

The Aim for the Top! Gunbuster Thread v2.0

I remember that one. I'm not nearly a fan of Nono to justify getting it. It is nice though. -

Give Gainax time. They'll get to it. -
Points for originality. I don't think I've ever seen that costume attempted before, which is sort of odd. The pattern on the material works well too. That helmet looks quite awesome (and expensive).

Macross Frontier News Thread V

Nice to see some of the other girls getting some decals. Though some of the fastpack designs are outright overkill. -
You've got to love working until the deadline. Every site lists it opening the 15th. http://bayanime.com/new-people-grand-openi...town-15-aug-09/ I'll be bringing Shadow Member Raider3. He's regged, but doesn't even lurk. Dick Hunter might show up depending on how long the Dr. Steel Global Invasion in Golden Gate Park lasts.

Indeed. At least she's alright. -
Just caught it myself. Sounds awesome.

Apologies. I didn't figure it would be posted outside this thread which I already had open in another tab. -

Some disconcerting news. ANN reports that Noriko Sakai, singer of Active Heart, is missing after her husband's arrest on drug charges. Apparently she left her son with a friend and turned off her phone ("She apparently turned her phone on once last night and they tracked the signal to Yamanashi which is leading people to think she's headed to Jukai which is a popular place to commit suicide..." says one ANN poster). Despite the alarmists suggestions, I'm hoping she turns up okay. Apparently, there's a warrant out for her arrest too. -

Check page 43 for pics of all the toys together. -
So thoroughly supporting one's POV with the capability to expound on things to the fullest when the need arises is a sad thing? I'm naturally verbose when I type, forgive me. I'm sure the thread is open for discussion, and I was merely responding to whatever was responded in kind. If it was a wet blanket and unfun it was because those that responded, like yourself, took it as such. I was rather half-serious when I started by the way. So don't just blame me. I may have broached the subject, but the thread dictated how "fun" it became. Yeah, leaving it to brief sarcasm like you did about four pages ago is so much more entertaining, though no more wet and uncomfortable. What's really sad is your apparent need to dredge up something that had been finished for about a page now. A little late to the party, don't you think? It's hilarious that you're essentially doing the same thing you're complaining about me for . Might we drop it and continue having "fun"? Commenting on the latest image, I think the Ranka is the best of the group. The wig looks great particularly. They're all pretty good. Though i think Sheryl could've benefited from different material. There's something about the lay of the fabric that just could've looked better.

Thanks, those are awesome! Welcome aboard.

Within walking distance? It's across from the mall itself in the site of the old bowling center. It's gonna be packed opening day. Sorry being late to the party guys. I meant to comment earlier. Looks like things worked out though, as I may have voted the 22nd, and now i know I'll be returning from Vegas that day. I'm leaving the 17th, so the 15th should be okay.

Awesome to see more pics of him. He's actually gotten me to consider making my own. Could be because he was posted several pages ago, though only one pic. That too, perhaps. There's been a few times when I get the feeling cosplay's a bit more of a girl's hobby. Makes sense given all the female characters in anime to cater to male audiences. The Michael plushie's a great touch.

Fortress, that's fairly what I'm arguing. The whole, and the sum of it. Of course things should stay in good taste, I simply don't believe one must stick to whatever their body style dictates. It's a case by case thing as with anything. I have no problem with that. It's the "only hot girls in cosplay do it for me" argument. That's not focusing on the whole either. Then it's just a fetish thread. So I suppose it's whatever motive brings you to look at this stuff. So yeah, moving on. "What we're we thinking about only staring at cute Asian chicks in Macross costumes." You know, my first comment in this thread actually was along the lines of, "I'd post images of me as Max, but I'm not a cute, Asian girl."

Even MORE remake madness.......
Mercurial Morpheus replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
i know what you mean. When I first saw the trailer, I shouted out, "Says who?" when the title came up. Looks like a semi-amusing movie, but certainly not a Holmes. Though I suspect that's what they were going for. -
We need Gubaba to settle the debate. Though knowing him, he'll just take both.
