I think it might be isolated. Nah.. Don't think I'm going to bother with an exchange. Doesn't bother me too much. Too much hassle lol. They're not major so I can live with it. I got mine from amiami. They sent out shipping notification and tracking number on mine via email few hours after they shipped it out. Maybe there's a delay in getting the email sent or something? Could try contacting them.

Well.. Mine finally came in today. Few nitpicks, the valk was tight but didn't feel as super tight as my Yamato VF-1S TV that i bought few months ago. Left vertical stabilizer had the skull printed a little slanted, not straight. One of the head lasers has some kind of glue residue I think, shiny smooth layer of liquid on it that's hardened, can't get rid of it. Looking past all these things as I'm mainly putting it in fighter so they won't be so noticeable. Still.. kind suckky. Pics to follow, (not that good at snapping the colour difference): Boxart. Back Flip top lid and inside Some comparison shots with my TV 1S. It seems to be a tint darker but.. it's really, really hard to notice. Hikaru The valk on the stand was barely touching the top of my shelf.. So I just placed it on the stand with gears out and make it look like a launch deck.

Just my luck, I will be overseas from 25th onwards so I won't be able to receive it.. Anyone with experience with NY can enlighten me if they will hold orders? Or if it is possible for me to change my shipping address so someone else takes it for me, having already paid for it?

There will be extra YF-19 stock for those who cancelled and I have a feeling stores will order a few extras in just to have stock after it has been released for those who didn't decide to preorder. So there might be stock left like how there's still some 1S Roy around. But don't count on it being there for long, definitely not long enough for a sale me thinks.

Isn't this just a prototype piece? Meaning all the colours, etc are not final? Yes, I want that blue canopy too. It looks really good as compared to this clear one. Thanks for the pics too Reivaj! Everything looks nice and tight.

Got tracking number. Will definitely arrive by this week if nothing is held up. I think alot of people weren't expecting this to be released so early. Honestly, I expected it to release like Focker's, end of the month, bit of delay. Earlier the better though

Probably just molded in the base colour and everything else will be painted (black stripes etc). Given Bandai's recent offerings of the VF-25A and the 25G super parts, I have a feeling we'll see an improved version in this YF-29, i.e not having the flaws of the previous ones. I do hope I'm not wrong

Finally got to panel lining and stickering the fast packs. Also repainted the missile tips red. Sorry for the crappy phone pics. Next - panel lining and stickering the valk itself.

Same here. I'm only buying those that I really want as I know I won't be able to afford them all. I've even held back buying the renewal Messiahs just cause I have the Bandai kit version. May be a floppy mess but it holds and looks in fighter decent enough. The 19's a little over the budget but it's something that I've wanted and the fighter is nice so I'll go with it just once. Don't think i'll spend that much again unless I see another that makes me go "want want want". Not even the VF-4 I only buy Macross too. So any extra savings I can get will be directed to it.All in all. I think it comes down to how much you as a collector or non-collector even, really wants said valk and to what means you would save for your purchase. There's always a decent time from announcement to release so there will always be time to save up

First one's a lacquer based spray and second's an acrylic spray if I'm not wrong. The UV cut just means that the coat also protects the model from UV rays. So it has an added protection of sorts. I personally have used the second and it lays down nicely. I'm sure the first one is good to use as well. Quantity wise.. Yes it doesn't last too long as it's small for the second. One or two kits and it'll be empty. Not sure about the first one though.

That lego stand looks like an Iron Man thing. Like.. put the 25S there and it will be fit with the armour by mechanical arms. Fitting having the War Machine there too

Toy in fighter and schematic of battroid, nice. For someone who's in for the fighter, really liking it. Good thing I ordered the Hikaru instead. The red looks washed out though. Hopefully it's sharper on the actual box.

Back when Yamato was still around, local stores had them for a reasonable price. So that was still decent. Of course online has always been cheaper but if it kinda saves the hassle to get it locally. Now, Arcadia's prices themselves are already quite high so can't really blame the local stores for charging it higher and it's way way way cheaper online. Can't blame them really considering the taxes that they'll have to pay + rent. I doubt it's cheap. I still see a fair share of Macross toys in local stores not lesser than it used to be.

You're in the right place. No worries And yes, that's the V1. The boxart is very different on both versions. Check out anymoon.com for both releases and their differences. There's alot.

I think he's just speculating considering it's the only one from MF that has still not seen a release yet.. Eitherway, a recolour YF-30 would be nice and a reissue of the G and S though those two I will only buy if I really have the cash.
