  1. Need a way to remove the UN Spacy kite tampo and replace it with the SMS logo too. I still think they're for the fold boosters. We might get a surprise. Who knows. This thing isn't even out yet. Pre-orders are still open btw.
  2. Eh.. I thought it was for the fold booster. But that pic sort of makes sense.. I think. Cool.
  3. Lol. I was just joking abt that price check on these threads. I've been wanting a 0 since Yamato produced them but couldn't get to buying one due to price. Now, I'll have to get one. Just a matter of which variant. Hope it's not priced too steep.
  4. AFAIK, no, it isn't. The V1 and V2 are two different molds.
  5. People should just stop guessing the price or say how much they're willing to pay. Arcadia might be stalking these forums and set a price by seeing how much people are willing to pay.
  6. That metallic grey finish... Pretty..
  7. As nice as this is. Don't think I'll be getting it. I'm content with the Isamu version. (can't have too many of the same one or funds will deplete) Awesome piece for those who are getting this.
  8. I'm happy as long as it still has the blue tint on it. It still looks good now even though I would have preferred the darker one. We need pics of the whole thing now!
  9. Lol. My bad.. I know they're definitely available for much cheaper than that now still. Probably was thinking abt SGD and tried to make a very rough estimate in USD when I wrote that post. =P Now I realise that it shda been about 150+-. Editted.
  10. 1/48s were released in around 2007. Even then it had limited releases. Yes, Yamato no longer exists. They're under a new name Arcadia now. Yamato after their release of the V2 1/60s, no longer revisited their 1/48 line. The new company Arcadia is bound to follow the same 1/60 line. There's probably little chance that the 1/48 will come back into existence other than those you find in the aftermarket. It's also been said that if a new 1/48 is to come out, it'll cost way more than the current 1/60s that are being rolled out now which are already at about $150+ per valk as compared to Yamato's V2 VF-1s that cost around $100+. So to make it short, I doubt we'll see anymore 1/48s, even if we did, it'll be quite expensive. All you have is the ones in the aftermarket. Try to check out Mandarake. It occassionally has decent priced 1/48s around. Also, you can try looking at the For Sale section of this forum. A few pop up there once in a while and I think there are a few that are still on sale. Editted prices.
  11. Let's just accept it as the second reason. We have less than a month to go to know the release hopefully we're all right.
  12. 0D does too. The wing shape + the nose and forward fuselage area in the picture matches more with that of the 0D's. Maybe we are getting something packaged with this release as well? The valk's on top.. What's the part below? Could it be just text or something more?
  13. Missiles look like the normal missiles used on the VF-0, VF-1. Unless there's a specific missile for the 0D? Either way, if you look really closely, it's definitely a delta wing design. There's a line that runs sort of downwards from the wingtip.
  14. Exciting! Whatever it is, it's a delta wing. My guess is the VF-0D. Awesome. Then again, what other delta wings are there in Macross other than theYF-30?
  15. Just keep pressing it down and trying to align it and that should work. Can't do much more than that as far as I know.
  16. Great review jenius. Will have to watch out for that painted hip bar part now. That tape trick for the doors of the stand compartments is nifty too. I did it myself but in a different way. I taped the inside of the door leaving some excess exposed so as to create a flap. If need be, just pull it up and it opens. If you don't need it, just tape the excess to the top of the stand. Very unnoticeable and keeps the tape in place so you don't lose it. One of my box missiles have the same problem too. It's very loose. The joints are like that but once you transform it once or twice it gets much easier to pull and twist etc. I push the backpack near the backplate down then pull the back part of the backpack up. As for the shoulders, I can't comment much as I've only transformed it from Fighter > Battroid > Fighter once. Maybe the transformation video will help you. Just youtube it.
  17. Nice shots. Love that side by side of fighter and the white background battroid one. Real nice. Interesting information. I was always wondering how they thought up the 136 for Isamu's 29. Thanks for the info!
  18. Aren't/Don't we all? An Alaska Base VF-1 as completionist as it sounds, it's kinda disappointing. I was hoping for something more. Then again, it might not even be it. Mr. K may just be trying to throw people off guard for the next release We'll get to know it very soon now..
  19. Stunning work as always MJ. You never fail to bring out the best in a valk. You should work for these companies for promotional shots of their products or something.
  20. Beautiful work as always MJ
  21. Speaking of Mt1st valks, what other valks are there that are different other than Hik's? I havent seen any other. Any links pointing to these different valks? Thanks.
  22. That's just pretty. Now you just need a last last pic with gerwalk.
  23. MJ *was* talking about the Tornado cannons. It would cause drag, yes, but not so much that it wouldn't allow the aircraft to fly.
  24. Nice shot! Works in atmosphere too. Shown in the movie flying in the fleet.
  25. I'm sure it's just the quality of the picture. The first prototype's is sort of purple too and we know that it isn't actually purple. Chill people
