I was wondering about the tow tractor. It looks like the tractor got placed on the priority list at the early bird.

It looks like this year will be hard on the wallet.

Any new progress? I'm starting to go into Daedalus withdrawls.

Here is a progress picture of the VC33. I'm using Model Masters Enamel Russian Flanker Medium Blue and white for the bottom, but that will have to wait until I return in May from sea. I love the Tomahawks. It looks like that will become my next kit to build when I return.

Here is the finished Honneamise 1/72 Ghost fighter. This is just a beautiful kit. Honneamise, when will you have the next new kit ready? The base its on now is a carrier deck. I can't decide on what type of carrier theme I should do. Any ideas?

Thanks MechTech. Did some touch ups and should have some finished pics of the Ghost shortly. I'm also trying to paint the VC33 before I leave on Saturday. Bromgrev, you don't have to wait for a work bench. Until I got my house, and had some space, I worked on the floor.

I thought you would MechTech. I finally came across a blue that will probably look good on the transport. The ghost is coming along nicely. You should probably get one. It is a very nice kit. Had a few small bubbles but nothing series. I finished the blue coat today and will spray on the white a little later. I'll post finished pictures of the ghost late next week.

A couple of projects. The two mini ghosts and the kite base are for the 1/1000 Oberth I finished in November.

I would love too! I've done donuts on a Coast Cutter 41 foot patrol boat and I was the one on the helm. That was a blast. I've also done it on one of our 330 foot survey ships at 10 knots, but with Z drives it does the turn in a boat length. Of course it was unintentualy. The autopilot went a little crazy that night. I sled across the survey lab with 3 other chairs into the bulkhead. The clean up afterwards took a few hours.

Looking great. It diffently does move will under its own power. Just remember not to do high speed maneuvers with the planes on deck. It would suck to have do a salvage operation.

Looking good. Are you planning on adding a lot of detail, like the interceptor missiles and maybe some aircraft?

With the bow thruster, which is cool by the way, will it be intergrated into the hull or just suspended underneath the hull?

I used Testors Model Master Enamel Go Mango (2770). It seems to be the closest matching color I have found. Here are a couple of pics.

Or, you can make a working floating drydock to scale and have a tugboat to pull it around.
