    The artbook is very well worth it's money. It feels like you just have to get these images into sequence with some filler story and you have a great Star Wars movie and then some. Some will say they just did that, but I like the result none the less. The artists nailed the essence of the Star Wars universe better than ever.

    White paint is one of the banes on my molding life. My current solution is to prime with a 1:2 mix of light blue (XF-23) and white even on white parts to give the paintjob some depth, then 3 sessions of airbrushing acrylic white on top (1 session a day) in quick, wet coatings, even after it looks ok after the second pass.

    Speaking of MGs, I just finished the head of my Exia.

    I wouldn't mind a RE/100 Gerbera Tetra. The kits have more surface detail that the MGs, and you don't have to pay for an internal frame that you don't see later. Poseablity is on par with MGs, too.

    The weathering really sells it. Maybe you could add a bit of dirt or a slight overspray to the decals to tie them in a bit more.

    Quan[T]um Leap! Still need to paint a few parts & add markings. The Gundam Decals sheet for the this kit is great! Very thin film and works perfect with my setting solution. And great graphics on top, they really bring the design to life.
