1/72 VF-1EX Valkyrie "Macross Delta" by Hasegawa
electric indigo replied to slide's topic in Model kits
I think the resin part is for the EX-gear cockpit. No mention of other upgraded parts (like the intakes) on the Hase page, so most likely this will be the standard VF-1. 3D-printers to the rescue... -

http://i.imgur.com/5JLIezk.jpg That's almost a VF-4 nose. Let's see if Hase upgrades the molds or just sells us a new set of stickers with a limited release. -

To my understanding, Wave is making the kit, just the material used to illustrate this news was misleading.

I've always been a Victor fan, it looks like it flew straight out of a Flash Gordon panel. Still not decided if I should continue to pimp my old Matchbox kit or get the new & improved Airfix Victor when it will be released. -

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016
electric indigo replied to Dobber's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, I would have thought the whole purpose of the anthology series was to take different directions from the core trilogy. -
I would have preferred to see a Hasegawa kit of this design, but good news anyway. BTW the pics seem to be of the digital model from the Master Files book.

Hey, let's choose this cool, young director who is known for his different spin on SF tropes and his serious tone, and then tie his hands, castrate him, and make him play safe and do what has been done before, twice... -
The Zetas definitely have the edge over the other Gundam lines... FYI, the Zeta Gundam Decals will be available again soon.
