Seeing the abundance of reboots and origin stories in the comic world, I find it no fault that the movie does it's own take on the character. I count on Hardy to make this one good; even if he does little to nothing, he's awesome (see "The Drop").

Very cool to see the shapes of Gunhed without the distracting weathering! Hervé, which other planes from Le Grand Duc did you finish?

Entirely a Rule of Cool thing. Johnson himself tried this and discarded it: -

It's interesting that all these Cyberpunk motives come to the screen 30 years after their inception. -

Yeah, it's a concept similar to Blade Runner's retro-fitting, where less things are created anew, but new stuff is added layer after layer onto old stuff. For the Lotus, I think the concept was let's rip out the engine and put in a Mr. Fusion, and make the thing bulletproof.

One of my favorite comics! But I'm not sure the blockbuster style will sell the story well, I'd prefer a more indie approach.

Since these pics are CG, I doubt there'll be a change of colors.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, in theaters May 25, 2018

Please no. Comic-book humor is the last thing Star Wars needs right now. The Kenobi movie cries for a classic Western setup, similar to what Chris describes. -
Hmm, another incident of retro-future that wants to stick with the 80's vision of the days to come, where cell phones and social media never happen (but we may get the flying cars)? BR 2049 and the LA GitS had a similar concept.

I modded it from the recent Fujimi kit. A detailed report is over at GE http://gundameclipse.net/topic/8081495/1/ _ Go to this post on Dorbou's blog for the rest of the Doro-off galleries and prepare to have your head blown off: http://dorobou.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2017-10-31

If anything was too much in R1, it was CG Leia, everything else I was mostly like like "gimme more". The Vader scene was like scratching a 30+ year itch.
