  1. I have a jar of Kosutte (a lifetime supply), but it's not available any more (probably because it's mostly made of toxic lead or something). There seems to be a replacement product: https://www.hlj.com/c1-metalizer-c1m1001 Oh and graphite powder from the hardware store provides good results if you just want a slight sheen.
  2. There is a "stealth grey" paint that has metallic pigments in it, but it seems to be available in Japan only. My approach would be to polish the flat grey slightly with metalizer or graphite powder.
  3. Comanche went on a diet. https://twitter.com/MBeinart22/status/1546899186800594944
  4. Playing Tangerine Dream's soundtrack to "The Thief" right now.
  5. @derex3592 just looking at that fiddly stuff makes me nervous. Erina has reached the painting stage:
  6. It is well-engineered for sure, but I'm suspicious if this is a recast of the Volks or WSC Twin tower.
  7. Don't throw away your old Imai kit:
  8. With the body armor, I see it as human-sized "Chappie" machine.
  9. How to peel potatoes in the Air Force: https://twitter.com/exoticaviation/status/1539018287945752578
  10. EVA Labor
  11. The J-35 is still a thing. Might go along nicely with the new carrier...
  12. I get the itch to re-watch Galactica 1980 to check if the writing was really worse than the recent Disney SW serials... Help me, Cassian Andor, you're our last hope.
  13. Now that you mention MiG, I can see it as a mix of an F-15 and the 1.44
  14. Welcome to the forum! Your kit looks awesome - I'm glad that there are still people keeping the Yukikaze flame alive.
  15. Another grail kit acquired: Erina of the Sky from Mika Akitaka's Galaxy Fraulein Yuna. @Urashiman I'm in the vicinity of Cologne
  16. AFAIK it's high density polyurethane foam.
  17. Interesting, I wonder if it is fit that way to have some degree of caster (Nachlauf) or to prevent the gear from collapsing to the back in case of failure. I guess you won't see that on a carrier bird.
  18. I think that song was "Wuthering Heights" from her 1977 debut. In my musical world, Kate Bush was huge, her albums felt like good books.
  19. Meet the new crew member, Jamie, head of Productivity Disruption & demolition specialist. Security clearance for the workbench is pending, though...
