    AFAIK it's high density polyurethane foam.

    Interesting, I wonder if it is fit that way to have some degree of caster (Nachlauf) or to prevent the gear from collapsing to the back in case of failure. I guess you won't see that on a carrier bird.

    @Urashiman I know the forward landing gear strut angle is canon, but structurally, it doesn't make sense to me. Is there any real world example of this?
