  1. It's worth watching for Austin Butler's performance alone, but due to the historical events, the second half drags like an overly long vacation in Las Vegas.
  2. In other news: SPACE LORD MOTHER****ER
  3. I'm all excited for it, but I hope it doesn't end up in a messy spaghetti ball like "Dark".
  4. @pengbuzz Brilliant!
  5. @arbit That is a very good question, I'll let you know if I ever find an answer...
  6. A few more for the road Now facing the existential question: What to build next...
  7. Su-25 completed
  8. That's one shiny boat! For wood pieces, PVA glue (white glue or elmer's glue) should do the job. It's solvent free and pretty strong, but the piece needs to be pressed down until the glue bonds. Excess glue can we wiped away with a damp cloth while it's still liquid.
  9. It is possible that Platz just used their image from the 1/144 kit.
  10. I have only praise for their Su-25, it's miles above the competition. Cockpit interior details are very basic, but with a closed camopy and the awesome pilot in there, it won't be noticed, and the coaming & HUD are excellent. The surface details are great, even if the thumb-sized mushroom rivets of the original are clearly under-represented on the model. Part fit is perfect, and lastly, you can't beat the price, which is about 40 Euros around here. Next episode will feature the aftermarket quality weapon loadout.
  11. Finished the cockpit. Zvezda makes the best IP pilots.
  12. Platz' 1/72 Fand II will be re-released in November! https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10912809
  13. Great Work! Is there shading in the Purple or is it just the photography?
  14. More work done on the Su-25
  15. Looking forward to see the text prints! 👍
  16. I wonder if Nagano had an advance release of Midjourney AI when he designed these...
  17. I did a quick & dirty check in PS - you nailed the nose, but the canopy could be even less steep (no idea if this would leave too little room for the pilot, though). Also, if you raise the lower frame of the canopy, it would look sleaker. I wonder if you could make the panel lines with a V-shaped cross section? This would give a more scale-adequate appearance. But I have no idea how this affects printing.
  18. Hmm, going by the lineart, the curve of the canopy should be less steep. Did you put a pilot in there for dimensions? http://www.macross2.net/m3/macrossga/vf-9/vf-9-fighter-schematics.gif
