The Game was produced by two guys from the neighbourhood, and I contributed some mechanical designs. It took them a long time to find a distributor, but now it's out: http://www.shockwave.com/sw/content/animenace You can find a collection of my design work here: http://www.romansland.de/gamedesign/animenace/ -i-

So what sizes would be reasonable? I think that a CD-size base can hold a 1/72 fighter kit pinned on a rod. A standing battroid may need a larger base.

Here's a proposal for the "kite" base. Should it be even more puristic and loose the ornaments on the side, or does it need more detail there? -i-

The Delphinus is from Namco's "Ace Combat 3" PSX Game. The old website is still here: http://namco-ch.net/acecombat3/index.php don't miss this http://namco-ch.net/acecombat3/wallpaper/index.html Now on to the Delphinus 1... -i- -

Wasn't the F-15 a General Resource plane? Anyway, feel free to paint it as you like. Looks cool. -i- -

honneamise, excellent work on the Toybox. I' still tempted to buy a FAND from Platz. Here's a pic of a scratchbuild Rex. I have no information where it's from. If someone wants to build a large scale Rex, I recommend the Metal Gear Solid Artbook, it has tons of detail drawings. The CG version seems to be a little off the original's proportions. -i- -

Cool kit, but you score some points on the Lazymeter for not sanding the seamlines on the legs...

Aaah, the memories... I believe I built the green one from the Megaro-Zamac line prior to anything Macross, since it showed up here in Germany a few days earllier. I live near the Dutch border, and over there in Venlo there was a three-store toy shop which had a full shelf of japanese robot kits which instantly blew my head off... not sure if I got it back together since then... actually, I will make it a R-103 C (just by painting it accordingly) did you know that Hasegawa made them? -i-
-
That's not entierly true. Hobby Base Retppu did a 1/72 VF-11B battroid. B-Club released 1/100 scale (IIRC) YF-19 & YF-21 battroids. And TECT released 1 1/144 scale YF-19 battroid. Graham don't forget the non-scale Kaiyodo YF-19

...and what is that? just to tease TSP...

...not expensive enough to expect something spectacular in 1/35, though -i-

Is there a decal set (normal colors) for this kit available? I am in the process of painting mine and have to decide wether I make a set of markings or use not-so-fitting old ones. -i-

Ok, it's not Macross, but I know it has some fans around here. A Rafe wallpaper featuring my 1/100 plastic model kit from Bandai: get your flavour here: http://www.online-club.de/~romansland/yukikaze/rafe1024.jpg http://www.online-club.de/~romansland/yukikaze/rafe1280.jpg -i-

eek, where are my sunglasses... perfect execution, but the color concept is really ...different -i- -
hmm, is the Sukhoi reference official or made up by DHM? -i-
-
Sounds like they could learn a thing or two from Lucasfilm... And producing final lineart after the CG models have been build?! How could that make sense? -i-
-
Does anybody have experience with Mr. Mark Softer? On the "lineart" topic: I'm pretty sure that the Hase staff has access to the CG models of Macross Zero, so any deviation from that might be a concession to economic issues. -i-
-
ok, to stop you from weeping over that japanese auction, I've posted some linart scans from hobby japan Yamashiita rules! -i-
