  1. Is it ag4? Good look with the model + let us see the result on your site. -i-
  2. That's the mighty Detolf. Comes from Ikea and is quite affordable (40 Euros here). Looks even better if you invest some time and paint the fake wood white. -i-
  3. Goshawk, with Javascript active and PopUp blocker deactivated, the pics should open in a new window. Spatula, there is an Yukikaze thread on MW: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=4489 We yet need someone to read the original novel... Feel free to grab some stuff from my shoebox: Yukikaze directory -i-
  4. I put my older work into one gallery. You can find it here: http://www.romansland.de/art/aircraft/ -i-
  5. I just used his set for the clear Hase valks. I wanted the lo-viz decals for a "pure" paint scheme so the colours wouldn't distract from the design. -i-
  6. Number two: http://www.romansland.de/dropbox/lightning_1200.jpg Have fun! -i-
  7. Looks like the board doesn't let me upload files. So get your hires here: http://www.romansland.de/dropbox/vf4_1200.jpg
  8. and another one - the Jerry Bruckheimer remix...
  9. My favourite aircraft design from Macross! This is the beautiful 1/72 Club M version offered by the honourable Valkyrie last year, with extra kudos to TSP for making a perfect canopy for me and Anasazi37 for the decals. -i-
  10. Beautiful artwork. And I bet there is at least one Chris Voss artbook in your bookshelf. -i-
  11. Completed the VF-4. FX shots coming soon. -i-
  12. I think that your sketch matches the appereance of the Ghost as seen on TV, but compared to the sleeker original design, I suggest that you scale down the heighth of your drawing a bit. Good luck with this project. -i-
  13. I have to say that I really don't like the "wood base"-style border on the base. I don't need "space age" stuff there, neither, just a clean edge would have been fine. But this one doesn't work for me. Are there others thinking the same? -i-
  14. Call me a heretic, but these SHE kits don't do anything for me. I love the Rettpu VF-4, you don't see that kit too often. -i-
  15. Detolf RULES!
  16. Yes, the VF-4 is such a beautiful bird. Extra kudos to Valkyrie for the recast and TSP for fixing the canopy. Now it only needs the decals I ordered from Anasazi. And a base... -i-
  17. Here's the same kit (in progress) with my preferred method of impaling: I use a 1 mm steel wire, it can actually carry a lot of weight, and it doesn't draw away too much attention from the kit like a plexiglass tube or the ubiquitous brass rod. -i-
  18. I just thought this link belongs in this thread: http://www.omooletoys.com/yukikaze_series/banshe4.html -i-
  19. YESSS! Crusher Joe deserves more love. I am wrestling with a Fighter One model as a NURBS training project, and Harpy and Siren will be next. -i-
  20. I'd support a thin 5" flying base, no fancy bevel, please. Like Mechmaster said, a "greebly" base might be too specific, on the other hand I'd like to see your ideas. -i-
  21. How do we go on with this project? I could provide William with a .DWG file for the the Macross Kite. We should define a size and then maybe open a preorder thread. -i-
  22. Wow, there's very interesting stuff in there! Rob, if there's any way to order them, I'd be in, too. Too bad the pics are so small. And I don't see the price tags... -i-
  23. Oh sorry, I tend to forget that there also exists a "western" version of the game... Anyway, only Rena, Dision and Cynthia have custom paint schemes, if I remeber that correctly. You can unlock their planes by completing each mission with "A" rating on the hard level, I think. Rena: blue Flanker (UPEO paint scheme) Dision: black F-15 and Raptor Cynthia: white/orange with blue trim Delphinus 2 + 3 and Remora (the pointed high altitude plane that moves like a whale) And you should try to get your hands on the J version. -i-
  24. I finally had the time and the right weather to take a good photograph of my Delphinus 3 and set up this CG illustration. For those who missed the info in the in progress thread, this is one of Neucom's "Radical Design" fighters from the "Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere" PSX game. Back in 2000, Hasegawa produced two excellent resin kits from the game, the Delphinus 1 + Delphinus 3. I painted this one in Cynthia's custom colors, hence the "C" designation. It appears in the later part of the game. -i-
  25. "Jin-Roh" anyone? Still on top of my list. -i-
