    The original design for the Nazi flying wing by Ron Cobb had 4 or even 5 larger engines. The sketches are in the "Best of Lucasfilm Archives" artbook. edit: found one image

    It looks amazingly beautiful, but the thought of transforming it even once really hurts my modeler's heat. Did you prime the metallic parts with gloss black or do you apply the Alclad directly on the plastic? The subltle shades work great. Regarding the canopy: I really think the locator pins to snap the parts onto the fuselage must be removed. They make the kit look like a toy.

    My suggestion would be to keep the current format with the kits sorted by maker and then provide links to MW members' galleries on the specific kit's page.

    There are blades made for use with a compass, and you can cut a circle from airbrush masking film with that. It might take a few atttemps until you hit the perfect diameter, but I find this method much more convenient than the masking tape way in this kind of situations.

    I was under the impression the "New Frontiersman" wasn't exactly the newspaper with the best reputation. More like these websites that tell you what "really" happened at 9/11.

    Thank you for stealing my plan. My own build is forever on hold since I want to recast the legs and use them on my Bandai Battroid. I also made a vacuformed canopy, IMO a must for an otherwise beautiful kit.
