I was under the impression the "New Frontiersman" wasn't exactly the newspaper with the best reputation. More like these websites that tell you what "really" happened at 9/11.

Thank you for stealing my plan. My own build is forever on hold since I want to recast the legs and use them on my Bandai Battroid. I also made a vacuformed canopy, IMO a must for an otherwise beautiful kit.

Even MORE remake madness.......
electric indigo replied to taksraven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I think it falls back on the talent of the writer (and the support of the studio). If the producers stick to the original too much, you end up basically with a piece of fan-fiction (see also: the Trek movies). I was a big fan of the original Galactica in my youth and I love the new series all the more, because they ignored all the fandom and developed an original update to modern day (ok they also happened to get some capable actors and brilliant CGI). Some established heroes also get a well-needed kick in the a$$ within their own media (Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight" Batman and Howard Chaykin's "The Shadow" come to mind) and I expect no less from movie remakes. -
I agree that the mechanical design of Ikuto Yamashita has yet to be surpassed. Does anybody have a clue what is going on in his Dengeki Hobby Magazine side story "NGE Anima"?

What I'm collecting at the moment: I kill giants A somewhat twisted child's story published by Image, I love the art and storytelling. The final issue lies ahead, can't wait to see where it will go in the end. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=16178 DMZ Civil war in the US. Manhattan is the DMZ, where journalist Matty Roth tries to survive the struggles of the powers that rule this world. I read the TPBs, and each one of them is like a really great movie. http://www.dccomics.com/vertigo/graphic_novels/?gn=5272 The Nightly News Very twisted story and very wicked art by Jonathan Hickman. Gives graphic storytelling a well-deserved kick in the butt. http://www.pronea.com/tnn.html

Even MORE remake madness.......

I've seem the "Assault" remake with Ethan Hawke and found it sucked majorly except for the opening sequence where his team is killed. Watch "Nid de guêpes" (engl. title "The Nest") sometime to see how it should be done, you won't be disppointed. -

Am I the only one who thinks that Carpenter's movies did not age well? I don't mind remakes like Siri's Nid de guêpes which takes the concept from Assault on Precinct 13 -
With the fix of her arm, Misa will look great, though the fans might want more anime-styled hair . The female helmet looks amaziing!

So you plan to build a transformable version?

New Star Trek Movie In 2009..

I wonder if the iBridge will also have the analog Trek wiring, i.e. when a part of the ship gets damaged in a fight, the appropiate console on the bridge blows up in the operators face. -
At first I thought Rorschach was flying up the building 36 second into the trailer, but I think they just gave him an improved rope gun.
