I liked "Sky Captain", too, and I'd love to see another cool retro future movie like "Rocketeer". I just don't see how it could come from a 5 minute CG short like this.

It's easy to foresee that someone thinks the diplomatic solution takes too long/costs too much money/endangers "national security", so they go for the "blow up poo" option.

Kind of - there is a pretty large headshot in one of the later episodes. But it's the same head as Brera's, only green. -

Here are the pics attached Unfortunately, the next kit release will be the Tornado pack, so we won't see the Q-Rea before spring, if ever. Still wondering if they pull off the 1/48 VF-25.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the Minerva is a toy from Wave, in the same scale as the old Takara plastic kit, but even more ridiculously priced than those ebay offerings. http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVCJ-01 (There is still a slight chance at a 1/72 Fighter 1 if a certain someone gets his prioritys straight...) The Tomahawk is 1/72, btw.

Half of the appeal of the movie is that the children are amateur actors, but do play their instruments and the background singing. Inspiring, indeed. The other half is Jack Black. -
