Thank you @wm cheng! It's the new 1/48 kit from Trumpeter, my eyes are too old for 1/72.
-
It's done. No outdoor shooting, but some nice soft light from overcast sky. Some more in my Flickr album

You might want to wait until next year for the new Trumpeter kit: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/11030655

Armored Milia -
There was a styrene kit of the Firefox in 2019, but it was 1/144; kinda underwhelming. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10644835 In other eastern news, I finished the WZ-10 and wanted to take it outside for a proper shooting, but the wind was too dangerous... So here's another preliminary pic:

I doubt that it's economically reasonable to print a kit that you can just buy from a store.

Looks indeed much better, thank you!

The Wave kit seems a little stubby compared to the DX and the animation?

Can't do wrong with Sam Ismael. If you haven't seen it, check out the "Homecoming" miniseries, also with Julia Roberts (and also with awesome cinematography).- 1514 replies

Moderoid Model Series by Good Smile
electric indigo replied to M'Kyuun's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So far I only snapped one Moderoid kit, and the large injection points are really irritating. With the substancial number of parts of the Deer Stalker, it took forever to clean everthing up even before even glueing things together. I love the range of subjects in the line, but the kits are not cheap, and the engineering should be a bit better. -

Who needs a live-action movie when you can just take cool shots of your model. -
I still have not forgiven Aoshima for not making the Silent Moebius Spinner...

Added legs & tons of little stuff, this thing has more sensors than a deep space probe.

@SteveTheFish Thank you for the pictures. The finish on the Q-Rau is so perfect. According to someone on Twitter, the TV version is still not decided, but I can imagine this coupled with a full Milia figure (like the Crusher Joe kits that came with a 1/20 Alfin) totally going through the roof.

Not sure who has this on his "most wanted" list... Come on, Bandai – where's my RE/100 Gerbera Tetra?

The Hobby Boss kit is trash, you should go with the Zvezda version IMO.
