  1. Mining source material that is all about style and attitude for full-feature plot lines is missing the point. Do you listen to rock music for the lyrics alone?
  2. Will this be the Nu to rule them all?
  3. So someone made a full-length feature from Neill Blomkamp's viral for Adidas?
  4. Ok it's up for preorder. Official prince is (ouch) 7800 Yen, but it's down to 5850 at Hobbysearch. Awesome details on the kit, check out the new pictures here
  5. So you thought the Collector's Edition was the end of all things Blade Runner? Make Room for the Anniversary Collector's Edition:
  6. I stumbled upon this nice CG illustration of Algerian Superhinds. You can see their big brother (Mk IV) in action in the movie "Blood Diamond".
  7. Both the Aeon Flux and the Tank Girl movie rank pretty high on my "Wasted Opportunities" list. High potential source material diluted for the masses. Reboots to the rescue, please. (Well, Tank Girl did at least get a comic reboot, with mixed flavors)
  8. Eww, this looks as true to the source as a Nickelodeon version of "Apocalypse Now" would.
  9. Where's the secret "caterpillar" drive?
  10. It doesn't get much weirder than this one... MiG-25 Flight von MiGFlug Warbird Rides auf Flickr
  11. The two-seater looks even more like something out of Ace Combat
  12. I hope so, since the Rex definitely needs support to stand. Seeing that the base has an interlocking design, maybe we'll get a Ray in the future, too.
  13. http://www.stardestroyer.net/Nemesis/Pictorial-1.html
  14. There was a time (around "Twelve Monkeys") where I'd have loved to see Bruce Willis as Hellboy.
  15. Mission accomplished.
  16. It's actually the PAK FA scheme in Flanker colors
  17. The colors were custom mixed with Tamiya acrylics. The light blue is white & medium blue in a 7:1 ratio, the darker tone is 2:1.
  18. Getting there: - derex, looks like a good start.
  19. ED-209 looks far too transformer-y busy to be taken seriously. This is all the Robocop remake I need:
  20. Pan's Labyrinth is definitely far beyond the rest of Del Toro's work, which is not that bad to begin with. I would have preferred if he had made his "Mountains of Madness".
