  1. Connery and Moore fit perfectly into what Bond movies were expected to be at their time. I guess we'll find the Craig Bonds silly some day, too. - I found this track from the Weekend Players' (=Groove Armada) unreleased album very Bond-y: Plaything
  2. Welcome to the Dark Side, George.
  3. Cybergundam has more pictures of the Riobot design. Best Jehuty interpretation in terms of sculpting & finish so far IMO. Size is about 15 cm.
  4. I've been drooling over the clip and took some stills of the awesomeness: Classy classic Basestars! CG environment > random canadian forest Galactica still has it's full armor on Gorilla Cylons? Love the Lazer Eye effect. And what's that hanging at the wall? Apparently, you can beat the Gorilla Cylons with a pointed stick. Lens flare abound. Razor Raiders. To widen the demographic, this one has Dinosaurs, too. The colorful space battles remind me of the days of Sierra's "Freespace" game. Note the Uber-Basestar at the left. T-800 Cylon
  5. Riobot Jehuty!
  6. Exactly, but that's only one half of the issue. The other is the mindless hordes who buy tickets for this drivel.
  7. I thought he got the Oscar for his haircut...
  8. You have seen nothing yet...
  9. Fell from the weird tree:
  10. Necro'd since this seems to be the only Crusher thread around... Wave releases another great design from this show in their W.H.A.M. line: If you wonder what W.H.A.M. is, it probably refers to the price...
  11. Nice ZOE promo: More here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-10-22/zone-of-enders-jefuty-bust-rises-over-tokyo-akihabara
  12. The major issues with the Zvezda kit are the spine and the size & shape of the canopy/forward hull. From what we can see so far, the Hobby Boss kit has the right proportions. It lacks the gazillion of stencils for the upper surface, but there's already an aftermarket offer for that. So far I only built a 1/72 Rafale from Hobby Boss, but the detail quality was easily on par if not better than Hasegawa. The decals sucked, though.
  13. It's not the horrible Zvezda kit, but a new tooling from Hobby Boss, which looks quite good. Hobbysearch has more pics: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10197455
  14. Another, bigger pic of the Nagase version
  15. For the modelers that don't want to wait 10 years for the Hasegawa PAK FA, there's now a decent offer from Hobby Boss.
  16. Muriel revving up that Gatling put the final nail in the coffin. Leave that stuff to Anime.
  17. The Ome Oye Toys Banshee garage kit. While the cast was perfect, the intricate paint pattern, the three-layered construction and the tiny bits were almost killing me.
  18. Erm, Nerdrage much? Even most non-SF movies would fall apart from that angle.
  19. I was not too excited about the Shinden's design, but after seeing the new Kei Nagase custom, I might change my mind.
  20. I actually meant the Club-M version, which is my favorite VF-4 so far.
