  1. I also remember a convincing facelift for Bruce Willis in "Surrogates". But then again, why shouldn't they use the characters at an actual old age in SW7? (edit: DT, you beat me to it)
  2. Note that the model displayed is just a quick mockup they printed for the Nuremberg toy fair.
  3. Look here for an extensive photo review of the Mave: http://mecha-guy.blogspot.de/2013/03/alter-presents-mechanic-model.html
  4. For the kit builders, Revell Germany will release a decent-sized model this summer:
  5. Very nice Wolves. I'd get one if my stash weren't so impossibly loaded.
  6. Thank you, but I'll stick to the red team: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/ferrari-laferrari/
  7. My expectation is a mix of "Stealth" and "Battleship"... minus Jessica Biel.
  8. I love the production design. Some hints make me wonder if the plot turns out like Pandorum, where there's a nasty surprise for the space traveling survivors. Some caps from the trailer - note the repeated presence of drone 166 in the clip; it also has a wicked "nose art".
  9. Please do not transform it!
  10. from the interweb: "The ship will be packed with 2 in-scale DWG229 Meranka Class Fighters + a Mecha Collection sized version of the same fighter (which will put it around the same scale as the Cosmo Falcon of the same collection)"
  11. Just build the Battroid from the Bandai kit and the fighter from Hase. That's what I'll do with mine.
  12. Hint: One tail fin is missing. Taken from here.
  13. Double Awesomeness
  14. They will look like the fighters from "Stealth"... Muahahaa...
  15. The Battroid looks still a bit skinny. And what are they doing with the cockpit? A solid relief on which you pop the upper torso of the pilot like the Macross F kits?
  16. Don't worry, they're in good hands...
  17. What I found more irritating than CG Arnie's look was that he had Connor right in his hands and kept on trying to kill him by throwing him around. Who developed the software for these things?
  18. What makes these Bandai Valks so frustrating is that you have to make a final paint job on all the individual pieces before you can get to the sub-assemblys and finally see some actual progress on your desk. I'm running into the same problems with the Koto MG Rex kit. Hats off to your patience. Just keep that mental image of how awesome the final kit will be.
