The Acolyte - Disney Plus Star Wars Series
electric indigo replied to jvmacross's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
@Big s Not to say that it couldn't have been done better, but this needed to be an interlude episode to develop the new pairings of characters. Worked ok IMO for Manny/Osha, but Sol/Mae was so clunky. And as a viewer with next to zero lore knowledge, I don't have the feeling that a huge amount of outside information is required to get the story. -

Note that the leak is from 6 months ago, we still don't have a release date for season 2 other than "Spring 2025". Found this breakdown of the season 2 recently: We get 4 blocks of 3 episodes each, with Tony Gilroy penning the first block, followed by Beau Willimon (Makina arch from S1), then Tony's brother Dan (Aldhani Heist from S1). The writer for the final episodes is Tom Bissell, who was not involved in TV writing much, but has a pretty colorful bio as an author & journalist. -
A true legend with an incredible range. Saw him once IRL, leaving a lovely hotel in St. Paul de Vence, when he attended the Cannes Film Festival.

Not my favorite design, but that's awesome work on the model! Do you have an ALPS printer to make the decals?

@arbit Great job on the "innards" of the Virturoid! I think the details on the cloak might look better as just engraved lines. Looking forward to see a painted version.
