  1. Hobbysearch has even bigger pics of the kit now (no box art yet, though): http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10242344
  2. I don't want to sound sarcastic, but isn't impending death the whole point of fast driving?
  3. What I find most impressive is that the model is actually pretty small - most other kits of the subject go the "bigger is better" route. You can see the work in progress here: http://blog.naver.com/no1jujil/130177714292 I wonder what the base kit is? Well, someday we'll get our Fine Molds Star Destroyers...
  4. MG Sazabi ver.Ka. will be released in Japan next week. Anybody ordered one?
  5. Ozma's machine from Y!J: http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/fukutsuka2001/imgs/0/b/0b7c5d2f.jpg Make sure to sand the sensors at the nose flush with the hull.
  6. If someone is still on the fence, HLJ has tempting sales going on.
  7. He's pretty tame compared to his buddy...
  8. Hey, they can split it into two 45 min. episodes and torture us for another year...
  9. Wow, that's some fine panel lines there!
  10. South African military supplier Paramount Group makes some wicked looking vehicles. I wonder when we'll see converted Marauders waltzing along in Beverly Hills.
  11. The BLR guys are just too cool. i-diots
  12. The larger kit (upper pic) is about 1/48 scale and has rubber/soft vinyl tracks (bound to disintegrate over time). The other kit is from the small scale kit series, but I don't know the actual scale/size.
  13. Can we agree that Bandai makes great VF-25 Battroids?
  14. The pic of the F-16 brings up a question that always puzzled me: Why are the AIM-120s preferably carried at the wingtips while the (presumably lighter) AIM-9s are on the underwing stations?
  15. I think both designs (Vox and Mave) owe a lot to 70s Design Pop Star Luigi Colani. Check out his aircraft desings, very outlandish stuff.
  16. Vox Aura from Rinne no Lagrange.
  17. I still have the feeling that there's too much "old school" thinking going on in another supposedly multi-billion dollar project. I imagine a rocket distributing a swarm of small, disposable recon drones, doing the same job at lower systemic costs.
