  1. MG Sazabi ver.Ka. will be released in Japan next week. Anybody ordered one?
  2. Ozma's machine from Y!J: http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/fukutsuka2001/imgs/0/b/0b7c5d2f.jpg Make sure to sand the sensors at the nose flush with the hull.
  3. If someone is still on the fence, HLJ has tempting sales going on.
  4. He's pretty tame compared to his buddy...
  5. Hey, they can split it into two 45 min. episodes and torture us for another year...
  6. Wow, that's some fine panel lines there!
  7. South African military supplier Paramount Group makes some wicked looking vehicles. I wonder when we'll see converted Marauders waltzing along in Beverly Hills.
  8. The BLR guys are just too cool. i-diots
  9. The larger kit (upper pic) is about 1/48 scale and has rubber/soft vinyl tracks (bound to disintegrate over time). The other kit is from the small scale kit series, but I don't know the actual scale/size.
  10. Can we agree that Bandai makes great VF-25 Battroids?
  11. The pic of the F-16 brings up a question that always puzzled me: Why are the AIM-120s preferably carried at the wingtips while the (presumably lighter) AIM-9s are on the underwing stations?
  12. I think both designs (Vox and Mave) owe a lot to 70s Design Pop Star Luigi Colani. Check out his aircraft desings, very outlandish stuff.
  13. Vox Aura from Rinne no Lagrange.
  14. I still have the feeling that there's too much "old school" thinking going on in another supposedly multi-billion dollar project. I imagine a rocket distributing a swarm of small, disposable recon drones, doing the same job at lower systemic costs.
  15. These 1/8 figures where printed & colored in one process, with the greyscale shading drawn directly from the 3D-scan: Shown at a 2011 exposition in Milan by german artist Karin Sander. This also works with colors, but I find the b/w versions even more interesting.
  16. 1/1000 Barugirei & Ranbea (?) Mekakores are DWG 109 and DMB 87.
  17. The article seems to neglect Magneto, wether played by Ian McKellen or Michael Fassbender. A very powerful and ambiguous character in the movies, brought to live by talented actors.
  18. I don't understand the need for a hypersonic military aircraft. Why not just put the payload on a bunch of missiles?
  19. Hasegawa does not want to change the runners of their existing 1:48 Valkyrie and so they include the different leg parts in the runners for the FAST packs. They do that in other aircraft kits all the time.
  20. My personal gold standard for a detailed Monster is still Fernando's build of the 1/160 ARII kit. After all the years, the pics are still available in this gallery: http://webspace.webring.com/people/fa/amaclub/emgallery.html You might have to turn off Javascript to get rid of the pesky Webring overlay.
