  1. Yes, leave the robot movies to Blomkamp, at least then they'll look like robots and not like B-grade action figures. I'd watch a feature-length Tetra Vaal.
  2. That is the plan. I will try to scratch build the custom payload and the mods to the Hubble telescope and get some decals printed to turn this kit into Gravity's Explorer.
  3. Self-motivating quick snap-together and putty surgery:
  4. Apparently, it goes more with the spirit of the TV series than the movies.
  5. Can't wait to turn this into a RG Astrea Type F.
  6. Turned 180 degrees, it's recognizable:
  7. Part 1 is supposed to be the face? http://hobby.dengeki.com/ss/hobby/uploads/2014/01/N20140128_004.jpg
  8. Since US overseas shipping costs have exploded, it may be cheaper for non-US residents to buy Moebius and R2 kits from japanese dealers.

  10. Haha, I had one of those (minus the police outfit) in the late 80s!
  11. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a "G"
  12. Speaking of RGs, here's the next one: Also, HGCC Turn A
  13. They're really trying hard to fail. Why not just make a FPS of it in the first place? Also, the Black Dude is a whimp WTF?!
  14. Apparently Hasegawa's airliner section is run by a different crew than their military aviation. Polyester putty to the rescue...
  15. FX shop Framestore has extensive coverage about their work on their website: http://www.framestore.com/work/gravity
  16. Completed my Shuttle cockpit today including 1/200 fire extinguisher
  17. It looks like something that would have been cool if it had been made in the 80s.
  18. It looks good for a few seconds until the really bad music starts.
  19. Just want to share this scan I made from a Crusher Joe magazine
  20. Actually, at one (early) point into this movie I thought "if this was an anime, it would be easier to bear"...
  21. Tsutomu Nihei (Blame, Knights of Sidonia) has developed this toy figure in his signature, eery style. https://www.facebook.com/1000toys
  22. The Jagd Doga is one of the classic designs, eventually they have to make a MG of it. It might take another couple of years, though. But usually this works in the benefit of the kit.
  23. Maybe the Japanese are smarter in their taste for movies, especially if these movies rip off/pay homage to their core pop culture icons?
