    Were there multicolor Mecha Collection kits before? This pic shows the Mecha Collection X-Wing and the sticker sheet which is probably what to expect for the Delta kits.

    This might be an indication what to expect: Note that this will be 10 cm box-scale kits. Details look nice, though.

    The Cosmo Falcon & Zero from Yamato 2199 also were first released as Mecha Collection kits, before we got full 1/72 kits later. Maybe Bandai is just testing the water.

    I'm considering the FFG Tantive IV, someone at another board is going for re-paint, and I'm looking forward to see what you can do with it.

    Keep in mind that the two versions of the canopy are included in each kit (AFAIR), but the cockpit and pilot parts are exclusive to the J (SDFM) and S (DYRL).

    Just go for the Hase 1/48 kits The J has the SDFM cockpit, and the S is DYRL. And you have the different canopies & pilots.

    I have one of the Yamato Mecha Collection kits and it has all the detail you can possibly get into it at that scale, including super fine protruding fins and sharp edges. But 10 cm is really really small.
